We loved Dale’s AM Krakow Old Town & Wawel Castle walking tour so much, we came back in the afternoon for THIS one, too. And he did not disappoint! So informative, respectful of the history and tragedy here, and insightful for those of us who are so distant from the events of Europe’s WW2—and especially the horrific Jewish experience. One of our teen grandsons was so intrigued by the mentions Dale made in his morning tour, he came back with us, and got a lot out of it. A number of times he said, “We talked about this in my history class!” But now he’s had the opportunity to SEE some of that history firsthand. This is especially moving because so much of the Jewish Quarter is still THERE!! Not bend out and replaced after the war. Do this tour, if you can! (A lot of walking here, FYI, between the spots we talk about, so just be aware of that if you have mobility limitations. )
Karolina was the perfect guide. Thoughtful and knowledgeable and happy to answer our questions. Really informative walk/tour.
Hi. Thanks for the great review. Your kind words help to spread the word about our tours. Thank you!
Karolina is one of the best guides in Kraków. If you are about to book any tour, make sure to get her.
Hi Robert, Glad you had a great time with Karolina. All the best.
We Did the free Walking tour, on Tuesday, Rudolph was our guide, and he was fantastic, very knowledgeable and was full of emotion for the subject. It was a brilliant was of getting to know the Jewish quarter and made our stay mush more enjoyable, as we would never have founds, the squares, and restaurants had we not been on the walk.i would fully recommend this
So glad you found Rudolf's tour helpful. Thanks for the review.
Karolina was an outstanding guide on the World War Two in Krakow: Jewish Quarter & Ghetto Tour. Her knowledge of the history was impressive, and she presented the events with great sensitivity, passion, and respect. She brought the stories of the Jewish community and the wartime period to life, making the tour both educational and deeply moving. The pace was perfect, and she was always happy to answer questions and provide additional context. Her clear explanations and engaging storytelling made this one of the highlights of our visit to Krakow. I highly recommend this tour, and especially Karolina, to anyone interested in learning more about Krakow's history and the impact of World War II on the city and its people. Thank you for such a memorable experience!
Karolina did an amazing job. We learned so much more than if we had just walked the streets, and all important history. She was loud enough everyone could hear her well and her English was excellent. Highly recommend this tour!
Thanks for the kind review. Glad you liked Karolina's tour. Thanks for helping us spread the word!
This was outstanding!!!!! A free walking tour (if you don’t count viator taking a cut), on the basis of your tip is all they earn, based on how good you think the guide was. …. I WAS BRILLIANT! Informative, relevant, accurate…. And a couple of the best spent hours in Krakow.. would highly recommend
Our guide was Karolina. She was excellent. 2.5 hours walking around the city, very interesting walk/talk. One of the best tours we did while in Krakow. 10/10 tour.
Dale is a Brit who came on a visit and decided to stay. He gives a compelling description of difficult political times, and it’s not always easy listening. The facts are heartbreaking, but it’s a story that has to be told, so that it doesn’t happen again. There’s some walking in this tour, but a lot of standing around listening ( which I find harder than walking continuously.) it was hot, and we were afforded a very short 15 minute beer garden break. Covered a lot of ground, distance and historically, and gave lots of tips for eating ( later) along the way. We were exhausted at the end ( physically and mentally) and after eating in the Jewish quarter we got a Bolt back to our hotel. Highly recommend. ( to note we had done the Old Town / Castle tour in the morning - 6 hours of walking tour was too much but we wanted to fit it in on a sunny day before the rain arrived.
Carolina was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide who was open to questions and moved the tour on quickly to miss the approaching rain! Very enjoyable tour.
