We have chosen the 7 hour option Dune Bashing and BBQ in the desert camp. After the pickup we were driven to the first point where it was said that you can optionally ride a quad bike there. It was just a huge parking lot where all tourists were simply carted off. At first they pushed you into a small shop where we were sold cloths and other things. Those who didn't want to drive a quad bike afterwards stood around pointlessly for over an hour in the area, were allowed to be constantly chatted to by people who wanted to sell you something and watch people take the parking lot a little ride on a camel. Also nice to see that the owners kicked the visibly exhausted camels directly in the sides if they did not get up fast enough or lay down. Also seeing all the falcons that have to come here all day just for photos is not so great in animal law.... After an eternity we went to Dune Bashing right next door. That was actually very funny and definitely a great experience. With the note that we only take a 5 min break for sandboarding in order not to be stuck in traffic on the drive to the desert camp we did not have time to take enough beautiful pictures in the desert or just enjoy the unique view. That was a shame. In addition, we still needed over 1.5 hours to the camp after that, because after one hour it was over and we drove another 1.5 hours back to the hotel. Lots of pointless waiting and time in the car for a bit of fun, not quite the trip we had imagined. Our guide was very nice and the food at the camp was also great.

After the dune bashing, we moved on to sandboarding, which was incredibly fun and surprisingly addictive. Whether you were trying it for the first time or gaining confidence with each run, it was enjoyable for everyone. Mr Khan was always nearby, encouraging us and making sure everyone felt confident and safe. Before moving on to quad biking, we made a short stop deep in the desert that allowed us to truly appreciate the beauty and calm of our surroundings. This pause was perfectly timed and added a refreshing balance to the adrenaline-filled activities. Standing among the vast dunes, soaking in the silence and the warm desert air, was a moment of pure tranquility. Mr Khan ensured everyone had time to relax, hydrate, and take stunning photos against the dramatic desert backdrop. He even shared interesting insights about the desert landscape and its unique environment, turning this stop into a meaningful and memorable part of the journey rather than just a break. Next came quad biking, another major highlight of the safari. Riding across the open desert at your own pace was both thrilling and freeing. The sense of independence as you navigated the sandy terrain, surrounded by endless dunes, was incredible. The quad bikes were well maintained, safety instructions were clear, and the entire activity was well organized by Fun Tours, making it enjoyable and stress-free for everyone. The performer’s precision, control, and daring stunts were mesmerizing, and the glow of the flames against the night desert sky made for an unforgettable spectacle. Throughout the entire experience, Mr Khan continued to stand out. He constantly checked in to make sure everyone was comfortable, happy, and enjoying themselves. His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the desert, and genuine care for guests made the safari feel personal and special rather than like a standard tour. He went above and beyond at every stage, and it’s clear that Fun Tours is incredibly fortunate to have someone of his caliber representing their company. As we were driven back to the city at the end of the night, I found myself reflecting on just how perfectly the day had unfolded. The seamless organization, thrilling activities, peaceful desert moments, unlimited refreshments, exquisite buffet and BBQ, captivating entertainment, and exceptional guiding all combined to create an experience that exceeded every expectation. I cannot recommend Fun Tours highly enough, and I especially recommend requesting Mr Khan if possible. He is a true professional, an exceptional guide, and an absolute credit to the company. My driver/guide was Enshan. Great experience with him. First off, He is THEE BEST photographer Ever! All of My photos and videos he took were AMAZING! But the excursion itself was a great experience. I was very nervous, scared even, but had good fun overall. The campsite show was really good. Unfortunately I didn’t like the dinner except for the barbecue chicken, I got seconds on that. But, Book this experience with this company!

From start to finish this tour was well organised,exciting,food was beautiful at the bbq & all the staff along the way were very friendly especially our driver Khalil was so accommodating,friendly & helpful,definitely recommended this company!

Such a great experience—fun dune driving, camel rides, the VIP experience was well worth it, and a really good show. Our guide Najeeb was awesome—really thoughtful with timing, photos, and made sure we didn’t miss the sunset.
