Uniek om te doen: Joe O'Connell, de eigenlijke wijnmaker, voert persoonlijk de bezoeken aan de wijnmakerij in het Engels of 'en Franglais' uit. Dit geeft u de mogelijkheid om te leren over het snoeien en groeien van wijnstokken van iemand die het werk daadwerkelijk heeft gedaan. Je luistert naar het verhaal achter de wijngaard terwijl je collega-fijnproevers en wijnfans ontmoet. Tijdens deze tour ontdek je het wijnbereidingsproces, zie je de vatkamer en proef je de wijnen. Met royaal smakende porties laat je je zelfvoldaan glimlachen terwijl je denkt aan je vrienden die thuis werken!

Taxi to the countryside. Was met by Joe and his wife Liz who gave us a warm welcome. Joe gave us a tour round his vineyard, showing us olive trees and almond tree, and acres of vines. Showed us the machinery used and explained the process, and during the whole tour, our wine glass was never empty with different types of wine, red and white. After the tour, Liz served a small deli with, yes, another glass of wine. Joe and Liz, made us welcome throughout the tour. We even made friends with the couple that was also in the group. Shame about the taxi coming on time, we'd loved to have stayed longer.
A wonderful time at this small but fascinating vineyard, owned by Joe and Liz. The tour by Joe was very interesting and humorous and the food prepared by Liz was exceptional. We were part of a larger group of about 15 guests who all got on famously. The size of the vineyard and its homely appeal made it a perfect 2 hour visit. A must visit, 10 minutes by taxi from Carcassonne. Thank you so much Joe and Liz.
We had such a lovely evening with Joe and Liz. The tour was really interesting with a relaxed vibe and a lot of wine. Dinner was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed sampling several wines with the delicious home cooked food but also having a great conversation with our hosts. I'd 100% recommend doing this tour if you're in the area.

Excellent and informative tour in beautiful surroundings. Both Liz and Joe made us feel very welcome. Prior to the event, Liz had been very helpful regarding getting a taxi from Carcassonne to the vineyard. Joe took us on a very interesting tour of how the wine is made and we enjoyed the various samples. He was also very approachable in answering the various questions we had. Had a brilliant night with the host and other great guests. Beautiful setting with a very knowledgeable host and fantastic food. Tasted 4 types of wine but drank many glasses. Well worth the trip out of town into the beautiful countryside.
