Wijn- en olijfolietour met lunch in de White Mountains

Alleen lokale gidsen, die 7-zits 4wd, volledige A/C, voertuigen besturen, stellen u in staat om onder zeer comfortabele omstandigheden een deel van het vasteland van Kreta te verkennen dat compatibele voertuigen, bussen of minibussen niet kunnen bieden. In kleine groepen tot 6 personen/voertuig met lunch beleeft u een onvergetelijke dag. Vroeg in de ochtend bezoeken we de 3000-5000 jaar oude olijfboom en later bij Anoskeli's olijfmolen en wijnmakerij zullen de sommeliers en wijn-olijfolieproducenten, als meer professionele in hun sector, u informeren over de wijn en olijfolie wanneer ze serveren Jij. Het avontuurlijke deel van de tour is om de White Mountains te naderen vanuit de Sebronas-kloof en over ruige wegen te rijden. Lunch op 1200 meter hoogte met een prachtig uitzicht op de Samaria-kloof en de hoogste top, genaamd Pachnes (2453 meter). Ga terug naar Chania en geniet van het uitzicht op de Egeïsche zee vanaf 1000 meter.

Raak de 3000 jaar oude olijfboom aan, die is nog steeds productief! Geniet van je koffietijd en bezoek een kleine, typisch Kretenzische boerderij.
Proef extra vierge en biologische extra vierge olijfolie. Ga verder met een wijnmakerijervaring door 5 verschillende labels lokale wijn te proeven, vergezeld van Kretenzische snacks.
Verken een deel van het gebied van de prefectuur Chania op comfortabele, volledige 4wd-voertuigen met airconditioning, die compatibele voertuigen, bussen of minibussen, niet kunnen bieden. We steken de Sebronas-kloof over en naderen de Witte Bergen vanuit het westen.
Benader het westelijke deel van de Witte Bergen en geniet van het landschap op het Omalos-plateau (1000 m/3300ft hoogte). De herders hebben het hele jaar door hun schapen en geiten op het plateau. Maak foto's bij de ingang van het Nationaal Park Samaria, de langste kloof van Europa (16 km/10 mijl).
Bezoek de ingang van de Samaria-kloof en geniet van je lunch op 1200 m hoogte (4000 ft) met een prachtig uitzicht op de Witte Bergen en de hoogste top (Pachnes, 2453 m, 8048 ft).
Als we bergafwaarts rijden, stoppen we op 1000 meter hoogte om van het uitzicht van bovenaf te genieten en foto's te maken. Op weg naar Chania zie je genoeg veranderingen in de schoonheid van de natuur. Van het bos met cipressen, in een korte afstand zijn we naar de vallei met citroen-, sinaasappel-, avocado- en olijfbomen. We zullen door de dorpen Omalos, Lakki, Fournes en Alikianos rijden.

Best choice we did this whole trip! We had a more than super guide Nikolas! 100/10. We met super nice people on our tour and had the best time together. So much laughter and good conversation and at the same time got a lot of knowledge. Our whole group 6 people exchanged contact information because we really had a good time together. Nikolas made sure we were good the whole time and kept so positive vibes. It was so nice that me, my partner and to other girls from the first trip rebooked another tour for the next day ofc. with Nikolas!!! Both days amazing!!! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

An amazing tour guide. Very friendly, a good sense of humor and generally respectful of our experience. I would highly recommend the tour of the olive and wine makers - we also went up in the mountains to see the entrance of the gorge. Nasos took us through the mountains and entertained us with insightful conversation. If you come to Chania this is a non negotiable!

If you only see the coastal part of Crete, you’re missing the hidden beauty of the island. This trip was through the gorgeous mountains of Crete. Our driver Nicos was very knowledgeable about the island, its history, and the olive and wine industry. He took great care of us. The drive was stunning. From the ancient olive tree, to the olive oil/wine tasting, to the lunch in the white mountains, this tour was awesome. We loved it. Totally recommend this tour.

A wonderful day with many different sides of Crete. The best part of the day was the drive up into the mountains and lunch at a restaurant with amazing views. I can also recommend buying home olive oil because it is a stop at an olive oil factory / vineyard with very good olive oil. Our driver/guide Nasos did everything to make us feel comfortable and told us very interesting about Crete.

This tour is absolutely amazing. We got picked up by Vicellis, I hope I spelled it right, and he was on time and a smile on his face. He was awesome. He immediately gave us waters and drove us into town to see some sites. Then we picked up another couple and went to the olive oil tree farm and had coffee. A beautiful cafe with a huge grape vine for shade like beer garden. Coffee was awesome. Then he took us to a winery and olive oil farm. The wine was awesome and the olive oil is out of this world. Now I know why Crete is one of the best olive oil producers. We tried many wines and with some snacks. Then we proceeded to a lunch spot that was one of the best views I have ever seen. You eat overlooking a gorge in the white mountains. The Greek food was amazing. Vicellis took very good care of us. He taught us some bee facts but every step of the way was first class. He got us back to the boat no issues and we had a blast. One of the best tours we have taken. Money well spent on this one. If your in Crete this is a must!!
