Laatste bezoek aan Penduka Village, Women Empowerment Project. Leer meer over handborduren, recycling van materialen en het optioneel kopen van handborduurproducten door vrouwen. Sightseeing van een recreatieve dam van Goreagab dam. Eindig de tour hier en rijd terug naar de stad en zet gasten af naar hun respectievelijke hotels. Klaar voor de dag!

The tour was an amazing experience. John, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about every detail of the history of this beautiful country. He also shared many additional details and answered all of our questions. It feels like we got a glimpse of every day live in addition to the usual tourist sights, too. Highly recommendable ! The guide was superb, they took us to visit the most iconic places in the city, telling us the history of the nation from the times of colonialism onwards, as well as the local culture and various anecdotes. Last stop was the Oshetu community market where they had us taste the meat cooked on-site (the hygiene of the place was not the best, but it was really good... we will see if the stomach holds up 🤣). Highly recommended!
