Wereldberoemde Pinot Noirs, knapperige Chardonnays en zoete Rieslings zijn slechts een voorproefje van de tientallen wijnen die Oregon te bieden heeft. Tijdens dit avontuur door de glooiende heuvels van de Willamette Valley bezoeken we drie zorgvuldig geselecteerde wijnhuizen, wijngaarden of proeflokalen. Gasten kunnen deelnemen aan proefvluchten en een kijkje achter de schermen van de wijnbouw ervaren. Let op: Proeverijkosten zijn niet inbegrepen in de kosten van de tour.

Onze centrale vergaderlocatie en ophaalpunt! Een prachtig, stedelijk park in het midden van het centrum van Portland.
Vanuit het centrum van Portland rijden we langs de Vineyard and Valley Scenic Route, langs boomgaarden en boerderijen, naar de beroemde Willamette Valley. Als de belangrijkste wijnregio van Oregon, is de vallei de thuisbasis van meer dan 500 wijnhuizen. Erkend als een van de belangrijkste Pinot Noir producerende gebieden van de wereld, wordt de wijn uit dit gebied vaak vergeleken met de Franse Bourgogne regio. Tijdens de rit vertelt uw gids de geschiedenis van de Oregon wijnproductie, hoe onze vallei is gevormd en wat de bodem zo idyllisch maakt voor onze wereldberoemde wijndruiven. In het hart van de Willamette Valley bezoeken we drie zorgvuldig geselecteerde wijnhuizen, wijngaarden en proeflokalen waar we deelnemen aan wijnbouwpraatjes en wijnproeverijen. De meeste wijnhuizen bieden handige verzendopties rechtstreeks naar uw huis, en ze hebben allemaal deals om uw favoriete wijnen te kopen in plaats van het betalen van degustatiekosten. Proeverijkosten zijn niet inbegrepen in de tourkosten.
We eindigen onze tour terug bij Director Park, onze centrale drop-offlocatie in het hart van Downtown Portland.

We have lived in this area for 20+ years and decided it was time to learn more about the Willamette Valley wines. We could not have asked for a better experience. Eric was knowledgeable, professional and took us to 3 wonderful places. I highly recommend this tour.
We thought that the vineyards were selected with care and thought and each was very different. From a beautiful outdoor setting to stunning hill views to backyard-like tasting surrounded by grapevines, each place brought a unique experience and perspective on winemaking in Oregon.
Eric was a great tour guide and our small group was fantastic. We enjoyed 3 great wineries, each with their own unique charm and character. At two of the wineries we even met the actual owners and could talk to them about their wines and winery. We throughly enjoyed our time in Oregon’s beautiful wine county.
Very well organised tour. Three well chosen wineries. Excellent knowledgeable guide, Patrick. Gorgeous countryside. Tastings are expensive (however waived if you buy). Picnic lunch (purchased en route) enjoyed in idyllic setting at middle winery, while tasting.
My husband and I went on this Willamette Valley Wine tour and Eric was FANTASTIC. Knowledgeable, prompt, informative and helpful on all fronts. Took us to 3 amazing yet different wineries and gave us the scenic tour of the area, all the way until we got to our hotel. Absolutely 5 stars! Kudos!
Wine tour guide Patrick took me on a solo tour since other no show participants. We toured 3 wineries with very good wine selections and scenery of the wine country. Patrick provided Oregon and Portland history with wine information to enhance the tour. Started the day with purchasing lunch items stored in the tour van cooler. Lunch was enjoyed at the 2nd winery with the wine tasting. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in wine tastings, beautiful scenery and an enjoyable wine country experience.

This wine tasting tour was an amazing experience! My girlfriend and I came along to celebrate her birthday, and we had a fantastic time. The tour takes you to 3 wineries all in the Willamette Valley, and every single one will have you leaving very satisfied. The price was right everywhere we went. Our guide was very accommodating for letting us stay a little longer at each winery. I highly recommend this tour to any wine enthusiast or if you are just looking to get drunk and have a great time in Oregon.
