White Water Rafting Klasse II & III !! Een leuke combinatie van wildwaterstropen en gebieden waar het water volgzaam genoeg is om in te springen en een duik te nemen. Dit is perfect voor een familie-avontuur en voor beginners. In dit gedeelte van de Balsa leven dieren in het wild, dus houd luiaards, leguanen, brulapen en een breed scala aan tropische vogels in de gaten. Deze reis gaat echter niet alleen over ontspanning. De rollende, tuimelende klasse 2-3 stroomversnellingen zijn genoeg om gelach en opwinding te brengen voor het hele gezin. De reis zal worden geleid door onze geweldige en veilige gidsen die een plas modderplezier kunnen maken. Zoals bij elke reis zal er een stop zijn voor lokaal geteeld, biologisch fruit en een andere stop voor een authentieke Costa Ricaanse lunch, je zult ook meer te weten komen over het kweken, oogsten, produceren van chocolade, medische planten, fruit en suikerriet.

As a family of 4 with older teens we thoroughly enjoyed the rafting. It was just the right amount of thrill versus fun and our guide's enthusiasm was infectious. We spent 1.5 hours on the water. We enjoyed freshly prepared fruit once we "landed" and then a lunch back at the tour office location followed by a short tour of their large garden /crops and some animals. Only reason for 4 stars was we spent an hour driving to multiple pick up locations waiting for people to board etc, before leaving La Fortuna, meaning the journey out took over 2 hours. Overall I'd recommend
I went rafting with Kevin and I recommend it 100%. The only downside is that it feels very short. As an extra, they show you the farm and you observe the coffee, banana, pineapple plantations... they also have goats, a cow, a donkey, and pigs. If I return, I would not hesitate to do it again. Pura vida
The trip was really well organised. We went by bus to the river, about an hour long, stopping enroute for bathroom and souvenir shop. All of the guides were great fun. Really experienced river guides so we felt very safe. It was a fantastic activity! We returned to the base after rafting and had a delicious lunch and tour of the farm. We all thoroughly enjoyed our adventure with Descents!

I loved the experience, Ronald our guide was very attentive, and he explained the reviews of the towns, animals, plants, birds, and everything necessary to better understand Fortuna. We are very happy and grateful. I would recommend it a thousand times.
We had an amazing time white water rafting! The scenery was beautiful, the rapids were exciting, and the whole experience was well organized from start to finish. Our guide, Kevin, was absolutely awesome. He was knowledgeable, funny, and made us feel safe and confident the entire trip. His instructions were clear, and he kept the group entertained while making sure everyone had a great time. Kevin truly made the experience unforgettable. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this rafting company.
Warner was my guide for this booking. Very knowledgeable and attentive. The guy had us rowing like Olympians after just a few instructions lol. I had lots of fun, none of us fell out the raft and we had 2 kids onboard. I didn't feel unsafe at all. We also spotted a good amount of wildlife during the calmer spots in the river, iguanas, sloths, and birds. This was the best part of my 5 day trip for sure!

Fun trip, water was pretty big from the mornings dam release up river. Saw various animals during the rafting, took a couple of dips in the river
Ronald was a fun and energetic guide who really made our white water rafting trip extremely fun. He showed us water birds and even a few sloths along the way. I’d definitely ask for him if you go.
