De zuidelijke Hooglanden blends, inheemse Australische wilde dieren, koel-klimaat elegantie, pastorale charme, en een rijke geschiedenis. Uw dag begint in Berrima, een dorp van zandstenen huisjes en koloniaal karakter. De weg leidt vervolgens door glooiende landbouwgrond naar Mount Ashby Estate, bekend om Italiaanse gerechten, lokale wijnen en een boerderij omlijst door kunst en stallen. Het landschap verandert bij Fitzroy Falls, waar beboste kliffen in diepe valleien vallen. Van daaruit gaat u verder naar Bendooley Estate voor een kaas- en wijnproeverij tussen de wijngaarden aan het meer en het verzorgde terrein. In Bowral bieden boetieks en antiekwinkels een langzamer ritme en een kijkje in het vakmanschap van de regio. De dag wordt afgesloten bij Boscobel Farm, ons privé heiligdom tussen bos en weiland, waar wilde kangoeroes vlakbij grazen. Een dag vol schoonheid, smaak, geschiedenis en zachte wildernis.

Deze Southern Highlands tour biedt een rustige reis door wijngaarden, dorpen en bushland. Begin in het historische Berrima, waar zandstenen gebouwen en vroege koloniale verhalen een rustige toon zetten voor de dag. Ga verder naar Bendooley Estate voor een proeverij van koele klimaatwijnen vergezeld van een charcuterieplank met regionale producten. De lunch volgt op Mount Ashby Estate, een boetiekwijngaard met Frans geïnspireerde charme, antiek en prachtige paddocks. In de middag leidt een boswandeling naar een opvallende waterval omringd door torenhoog tandvlees en koele lucht. We first went on a Sydney half day private tour with the Australian Adventure Company and loved it so much we booked again . This time we went to the Southern Highlands for an Australian Country side wine tour . What a fantastic day it was ! The small villages were so beautiful and had so much history to them . Bendooley Estate winery had delicious Riesling and Pinot Noir . The waterfall was incredible . And we finished the day on a private farm watching Kangaroos jump around in the wild !! We did not expect this for our trip . Wow . Do yourself a favour and don’t miss out on this on .

The Southern Highlands Tour was fantastic! From pick-up to drop-off, Sam looked after us so well. We tasted some incredible wines and learned about Australia’s fascinating history on the drive. The picnic on the farm at the end of the day was magical - especially watching the wild kangaroos hopping around. An incredible day from start to finish! Highly recommend Aus Adventure Co.
This was a flawlessly organised and executed tour. Thank you Sam and The Aus Adventure Co. for delivering such a fabulous experience for my friends and I. This tour exceeded my expectations 10-fold, maybe our very favourite day on our whole 15 day trip. The wineries we visited for exquisite, we especially loved lunch at Ashby Estate and learning the history of the country villages in the region. The wines were so delicious, the food was delicious, the views were delicious. The picnic in the paddocks blew us away, must have been at least 20 kangaroos within a stones throw away grazing the meadows as we enjoyed local cheese and wines. The day ended with a bushwalk to a very beautiful waterfalls which was the cherry on top. Thanks for a fantastic day Sam! We will never forget it, it was so lovely spending the day with you. We went on a full day Sydney tour with Sam and decided to book another tour and explore the southern NSW coastline and countryside. We are so glad we did, as I could image many visitors miss these spots, but this is where Australia’s true coastline really shines. We had such an amazing day. Sam was fantastic, making the whole experience so enjoyable. We got to pat koalas and feed kangaroos at Symbio Wildlife Park and saw so many other native animals in their natural habitats. The scenery was breathtaking, with mountains, cliffs, rainforest, countryside and the sparkling coastline. We visited two national parks, enjoyed a lovely seaside lunch, and finished the day with wine tasting at a beautiful vineyard. Our highlight was spotting wild kangaroos on the farm and having a nice Aussie beer. Incredible views, amazing wildlife, and Sam’s friendly guidance made this tour unforgettable. We had such a great time and would highly recommend it.
