Wildernis Zodiak Quest

Je adrenaline zal stromen als je aan boord gaat van een Zodiac met vier of zes passagiers, een opblaasbare boot met stijve romp die snelheid en behendigheid biedt. Het avontuur begint met een tour per busje door het historische centrum van Ketchikan. Kijk uit het raam terwijl je mooie rit langs totempalen, Saxman Native Village en de prachtige kustlijn van de Tongass Narrows naar de Beaver Falls Salmon Cannery rijdt. Bij aankomst adem je de frisse lucht in terwijl je het mystieke regenwoudpad naar de Zodiac loopt. Na een veiligheidsbriefing trekt u uw regenkleding, rubberen laarzen en een reddingsvest aan, stapt u in de stevige Zodiac en volgt u uw gids naar de prachtige George Inlet Fjords. Geniet van het ongerepte landschap en bewonder de rijke fauna. Na 90 minuten varen keert u terug naar de conservenfabriek voor een gratis vlucht met ambachtelijke bieren of frisdranken uit de 49e staat en een snack!

Bezoek een van de laatst overgebleven conservenfabrieken in Ketchikan, Alaska in George Inlet. Deze historische conservenfabriek was ooit eigendom van en werd geëxploiteerd door Libby, McNeill en Libby Cannery Co.

We got lucky enough to come during a sunny heat wave! Emily was our guide and we decided to actually let her drive us instead of us driving. The Harbor Seals were so fun to watch, we seen lots of salmon jumping out of the water, jelly fish, and even a sea cucumber.
Amazing experience with Marty as our guide. It was such a fun, unexpected adventure, and Marty showed us great wildlife and kept the energy up the whole time.

Maryann our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. The trip was a highlight of my Alaska cruise. We spend the whole time out on the ocean and were able to see otters and bald eagles. It was so beautiful and I would high recommend the trip.

The tour was fantastic. We were picked up promptly and Hayden was a terrific guide on our zodiac raft adventure exploring wildlife seeing seals and bald eagles and a fun time on the inlet

We had a fantastic time with our guide, Hayden. Everything was clean and professional. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. We got close up views of bears, eagles, and seals in addition to having a great time driving the zodiac out on the water. 10/10 would recommend.

We did not have long in Ketchikan. Wanted to do something different. Driving you our own boat on was awesome. They have all the gear. The Libby s cannery was a sight to see. All the machines and cans were there…looks like they just walked away from it. So glad we left the very crowded streets of Ketchikan to explore. Do not miss this!!! It’s a hidden gem.

They have everything you need and are very good at keeping you on time to make it back to your ship. They saw that I would be cutting it close at the end of our excursion so they were able to move us up earlier. So grateful for that because we had a great time. Highly recommend & Maryann was great as our host as well.
