Deze tour is inclusief een auto tot uw beschikking tijdens de tour, transfer naar een prachtige wijnmakerij in Montecarlo waar u 4 verschillende soorten wijn kunt proeven. Na de wijnmakerij is er vrije tijd om Montecarlo te bezoeken, een magisch middeleeuws stadje dat op de top van een eenzame heuvel ligt, met een geweldig panorama. Na het bezoek neemt de chauffeur je mee naar een ander deel van het platteland van Lucca om een echte Toscaanse boerderij te ervaren; Te midden van de stilte en de geur van de heuvels zijn de boerderij en zijn kelders nog steeds intact, net als in de 17e eeuw. Het is in deze omgeving dat we u willen uitnodigen, waar u meer te weten kunt komen over onze geschiedenis en de producten van de boerderij: een voorproefje van het verleden in Toscane. Hier proeft u lokale vleeswaren en kazen, een bruschetta, een typisch ‘Lucchese’ voorgerecht, een proeverij van de olijfolie van de boerderij met sneetjes brood en een proeverij van 5 van onze wijnen van de boerderij. Ophalen bij uw accommodatie en transfer naar de eerste wijnmakerij.
Eerste stop in een prachtige moderne wijnmakerij in Montecarlo, waar je 4 verschillende soorten wijn kunt proeven. Na de proeverij transfer naar Montecarlo - vrije tijd om Montecarlo te bezoeken, een magisch middeleeuws stadje dat op de top van een eenzame heuvel ligt, met een geweldig panorama. Het heeft de Oranje Vlag van de Touring Club verdiend, een symbool van een toeristische bestemming van hoge kwaliteit. Beroemd om de oogverblindende schoonheid van het omringende landschap, staat het ook bekend als een belangrijk wijnproducerend gebied, zoals de uitgestrekte wijngaarden getuigen. Het goed bewaarde historische centrum van de stad ligt binnen een prachtig circuit van muren bovenop een eenzame heuvel, die een hoogte bereikt van 163 meter boven zeeniveau. Na het bezoek transfer naar de laatste wijnmakerij.
Je bevindt je op een ander deel van het platteland van Lucca om een echte Toscaanse boerderij te ervaren; Tussen de stilte en de geur van de heuvels zijn de boerderij en zijn kelders nog steeds intact, net als in de jaren 1600. We had an unforgettable day with Road Trippin’ Italy and our driver, Riccardo. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made every part of the journey easy and enjoyable. Riccardo took us to two outstanding wineries. Our first stop was Tenuta del Buonamico in Montecarlo, where Eleanora guided us through a lovely tasting and shared her deep knowledge of the wines. The wines were excellent and the setting beautiful. The second stop, Fattoria Maionchi, was absolutely fantastic. The historic estate, the family’s warm welcome, and the lunch pairing made this one of the most special tastings we’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Francesco and Andrea radiate love for their family’s history and winemaking—it’s impossible not to be swept up in their enthusiasm. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy. If you’re looking for a seamless, authentic, and truly memorable wine experience, we highly recommend Road Trippin’ Italy and Riccardo.

Perfect trip - pick up by Ricardo from our hotel in Lucca (Palazzo Busdraghi) - private Mercedes mini van. Our time could haven’t been better. Knowledgeable and accommodating, Ricardo took us first to a winery for some wine tasting, then onto the historic and picturesque town of Monte Carlo , not a tourist in sight as we mingled with the locals, drank Aperol in town while people watching before going onto a truly memorable time - lunch with the great grandson of the original owners of Maionachi Winery. Superb food, wonderful stories delivered with a true passion. Worth every penny and a tour we’d do again. Brilliant way to experience the wonder of the real Italian Countryside

We were lucky to have Riccardo as our driver for two whole days of wine tasting, cooking classes and sight seeing during our stay in Montecatini. He provided a fantastic experience for my wife and I and made sure we were well taken care of at each place we visited. Spent a lovely morning with Ricardo taking us through the countryside of Lucca and Montecarlo and to two wineries. Ricardo was knowledgeable about the history and area and provided a wonderful experience. We especially loved the wine tasting and lunch at the Maionchi Winery which was straight out of a movie because of its beauty and because the grandchildren are restoring this wonderful place began by their grandparents. Lunch was fabulous and were the wines. We highly recommend this tour!!

We had a wonderful day in the hills of Tuscany outside Lucca. Thanks to Road Trippin Italy the day was memorable and thoroughly delightful. My friend and I were in Tuscany for the first time, and thanks to Road Trippin' Italy, we were able to just take in the beauty of where we were and not worry at all about logistics! Our driver, who is from Lucca, told us many interesting facts/history about Lucca and the region during the tour, served as our photographer a few times, and even gave us great recommendations for a special place to have dinner in Lucca! Amazing tour!! Biagio was fantastic and took us to some brilliant vineyards and also showed us some of the history of the area, which was an added bonus! One of the best wine tours we have done. Would highly recommend.
