Deze tour is een geweldige ervaring voor zowel wijn- en / of bierliefhebbers, amateurs of gewoon nieuwsgierig. Een korte uur rijden van Praag, deze tour biedt de mogelijkheid om het ingewikkelde productieproces voor zowel mousserende wijn als het wereldberoemde bier van de Tsjechische Republiek beter te begrijpen , beide verweven in de geschiedenis van de prachtige stad Pilsen. We leren de geheimen van hoe de bubbels in de fles komen en verkennen de geschiedenis, productie en toewijding aan kwaliteit achter het wereldberoemde Tsjechische bier Pilsner Urquell.

We beginnen onze tour in de meest bekende Tsjechische producent van mousserende wijn. Tijdens dit bezoek geniet je van een rondleiding waarbij je ontdekt hoe deze beroemde sekt wordt gemaakt. Je leert het verschil tussen de traditionele en Charmat-productiemethoden, hoe gist wordt afgeschud en hoe sedimenten worden verwijderd uit mousserende wijnen. De rondleiding wordt gevolgd door een proeverij van mousserende wijn, waar je 5 samples van deze beroemde producent kunt leren kennen.
Na dit bezoek aan de mousserende wijnfabriek rijden we rechtstreeks naar de brouwerij voor een Tsjechische traditionele lunch in een zeer vriendelijk restaurant. (Optioneel: na dit bezoek rijden we naar het centrum van Pilsen, waar we zullen genieten van een traditionele Tsjechische lunchervaring). We zullen de rest van de dag (bijna 2 uur) doorbrengen in de historische brouwerij die meer dan tweederde van de bieren ter wereld heeft geïnspireerd! Beroemde bieren van de Pilsner-bieren in Urquell staan tegenwoordig nog steeds bekend als "Pils", "Pilsner" of "Pilsener" over de hele wereld! Liefhebbers van geschiedenis zullen onder de indruk zijn van het model van de brouwerij uit de 19e eeuw, het brouwhuis uit de jaren 1930 en de historische kelders. Leer de unieke methode van het brouwen van Pilsner Urquell-bier en bezoek de nieuwe bottelarij, die 120.000 flessen per uur kan verwerken. Wikkel af met een rondleiding door de brouwerij en een bierproeverij van de beste producten van Pilsner Urquell. Aan het eind van de dag brengen we je terug naar je hotel in Praag.

Andrea picked us up at the scheduled time. We drove to Plzen. First stop was Bohemia Sekt where we first got a round in the vineyard. Then there were tasting of seeing different sparkling wines. Along the way, she told me about different places we passed. Afterwards there was lunch at PilsnerUrqeuell with subsequent round in the brewery. Finally there was a taste of beer and a round in the souvenir shop. Andrea has great knowledge of Prague, the surrounding areas and about beer and wine. Really a nice excursion. Recommended

My husband & I did a full day private trip to Bohemia Sekt sparkling wine cellar & Pilsner Urquell brewery with Andrea. We were conveniently picked up from our hotel, greeted with snacks, and hit the road for ~1 hr. We thoroughly enjoyed the Bohemia Sekt cellars. We received a very informative private tour where we learned about & witnessed the traditional method of sparkling wine creation, the bottling process, and finally got to try various samples of sparkling wine. We then headed to Pilsen to the Pilsner Urquell brewery where we had a delicious lunch before we did a group tour around the Brewery and sampled beer from their cellars. Andrea was an excellent guide. She had a great relationship with all of the folks at the wine cellar & brewery, was our personal photographer/already knew all the spots for the best photo ops, and very graciously recommended a great local spot for dinner. Andrea was the best tour guide we could ever have asked for. Her attention to us as her guests was immeasurable. She was incredibly kind and generous with her knowledge and hospitality. We will definitely be using her guide service again the next time we can come back to the beautiful Czech Republic. The tour we went on at Bohemian Sekt was really nice and the tasting at the end was eye opening to the quality of Czech wines, and made us want to explore more of the wineries in the Czech regions. To top it off we had an excellent lunch, tour, and tasting of the unfiltered beer at the Pilsner Urquell brewery, bottling facility and most of all the aging cellars below the brewery. We really couldn't have asked for more. I would highly recommend Andrea and her tour company to anyone.
