Je zult genieten van een rondleiding door het eerste mariene park in Costa Rica, het Ballena Marine Park in de Stille Zuidzee, waar de grote bultruggen aan het daten zijn, evenals dolfijnen, schildpadden en meer. Je hebt ook de mogelijkheid om te snorkelen, grotten te bezoeken en nog veel meer om de unieke ervaring die je dit prachtige park geeft, van dichtbij te beleven. We hebben twee verschillende seizoenen om walvissen te zien, één is van juli tot oktober en de volgende van januari tot maart.

Routebeschrijving 8:30 uur Aankomst in Marino Ballena National Park en start van de boottocht: Walvissen spotten in de wateren van Marino Ballena National Park met snorkelen, zwemmen, bezoek aan grotten en grote kans om walvissen, dolfijnen en schildpadden te zien. Als het water helder is oefen je met snorkelen anders heb je tijd om te zwemmen 12:00 Einde van de boottocht en vrije tijd Inbegrepen: boottransfer, gids, toegang tot het park, snorkeluitrusting, water en fruit tijdens de tour. Het is het eerste mariene park van Costa Rica, erkend omdat het strand de vorm heeft van een walvisstaart en ironisch genoeg de beste plek is om walvissen te zien. Het is gelegen in de Stille Zuidzee, op slechts 4 uur rijden van San Jose. We hebben 2 seizoenen van walvissen, de eerste van het jaar is van januari tot maart en de volgende van juli tot oktober

Very disappointing whale watching tour. A dozen speedboats rushing toward a poor whale as soon as it surfaces to breathe. I imagine that with all the engine noise, it must be deaf. And for the tourist that I was, we only saw the top of the whale's back. Not at all ethical or eco-friendly. I will not do this type of whale "hunt" again.
A spectacle to be able to see whales with them. We saw three specimens. The guides were very kind and friendly. Everything very well organized. I would highlight their respect for the whales. They always kept a prudent and perfect distance for sighting.

Not seeing whales makes what you pay for this excursion excessive. I understand it's not guaranteed, but them you should be charged less in that case. We paid to sit in a boat, and on one beach which krabi is a beach so it didn't make sense to pay to do that. Live and I learn. Wouldn't do it again around the month I did it
Informative guide, fun tour! We started with a little snorkeling, saw some dolphins and finished at a beautiful beach.
The tour is very complete with the part to see the animals, snorkeling and time on a beautiful beach to eat pineapple and snacks. They put the priority on the possibility of seeing the animals that we found great. In our case we have not done the snorkeling because we went further and we have seen dolphins. It was amazing and we highly recommend it! The people of the tour are very friendly and comment on many things about the park, the animals and the protections that have been implemented.
The whales are not necessarily expected to be there. It's a roulette wheel and it's normal. But the Snorkeling offered as compensation does not save the excursion! There is absolutely nothing to see! Not a fish. No corals, just rocks. Disappointing. At your own risk.
Erika and her crew did a fine job. We spotted some dolphins; no whales, unfortunately, but this is beyond their control. I would recommend booking much earlier in the whale-watching season as we previously did.
We had a blast! The sights were beautiful, and even though we didn't see any whales that day, we saw lots of different types of dolphins, birds, and fish. The mid-trip break on the beach was also fantastic!

Humpback whales migrate to mate and give birth in the warm, shallow waters near our coast, so sightings can vary, but the wildlife here is always amazing. We’re happy you enjoyed the beach break too!
The staff and crew were courteous and professional. Unfortunately, we did not see any whales but not from a lack of effort from the crew. saw several dolphin and sea birds.
