Ontdek de Oregon Coast op zijn best. Dit is de enige dagtour vanuit Portland die helemaal naar de walvisspottende hoofdstad Oregon Depoe Bay gaat, naast de must see Cannon Beach, Haystack Rock, Oswald West, Short Sands Beach, Neahkahnie Viewpoint en Tillamook Creamery. Doe met ons mee voor een speciaal soort vreugde die je alleen aan de Oregon Coast kunt krijgen.

Voor het eerste deel van onze tour kronkelen we door de rustige sereniteit van het Tillamook State Forest op weg naar Cannon Beach
Stop voor een kopje koffie en een lichte snack, gevolgd door een korte wandeling naar Haystack rock.
Verder over Highway 101 naar de regenwoudpaden van Oswald West State Park, waar we (als het weer het toelaat) een korte wandeling maken door oude groeibossen naar Short Sands beach, een populaire inham voor zowel surfers als strandjutters.
We passeren de adembenemende Neahkahnie Overlook, die zelfs op bewolkte dagen een prachtig uitzicht biedt op de Stille Oceaan, hoog boven de kust.
Na het passeren van Neahkani uitzicht zullen we de historische Highway 101 volgen door enkele typische Oregon strandplaatsen, zoals Wheeler, Rockaway Beach, Garibaldi en Bay city als we langs Tillamook Bay reizen.
Onze lunchstop is bij de iconische Tillamook Creamery, waar u kaas uit Oregon proeft, geniet van een maaltijd en ijs ziet dat voor uw ogen is gemaakt.
We komen door een van de leukste stadjes (Lincoln City) op weg naar Depoe Bay
De reis gaat verder naar het zuiden naar Depoe Bay, de thuisbasis van grijze walvissen, dramatische uitzichten op de haven en het Oregon Parks Whale Watching Center.

Tour guide James was personable and friendly. We enjoying the beautiful views during the journey. Seeing so much of the Portland coast in a day was great! From whale watching to hiking in the rain forest and ice cream!!! A little bit of everything. Long day but so worth it.

It was a wonderful tour. Brandon, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable. We loved all the different activities along the coast.
Whale watching on boat for an hour and we saw several whales. Beaches were very scenic and so was the drive. Tillamook was disappointing. It is a long day.

The trip was interesting, it was my second time to the coast and the first time to Depoe Bay. Plan to go back later in the year.

Our tour guide, Brendan, was excellent. His knowledge of the area., knowledge of geology, flora, and fauna was phenomenal. The only disappointment was that we were not able to go on the whale watch boat segment of this tour due to small craft advisory. Mother nature called and gave us very choppy waters so it was not possible to go out on the boat today.
He is such a wealth of knowledge and the best tour guide you could hope for. So glad you enjoyed your time.
