Hoewel we het oorspronkelijke walvisobservatiebedrijf in Juneau zijn (actief sinds 1994), zijn we nog steeds klein en eigendom van een familie! We willen dat je je deel van de familie voelt, en we zijn er trots op dat we prioriteit geven aan lokale medewerkers om iets terug te geven aan onze gemeenschap en je de best mogelijke reiservaring te bieden. We willen dat onze gidsen net zoveel van Juneau houden als jij! Onze vloot bestaat uitsluitend uit zoogdiervriendelijke jetboten, en door het kleine formaat en de intieme setting voelt u zich meteen thuis bij de walvissen. We zijn trots op onze snelle transfers tussen voertuigen! Wij willen niet dat u langer wacht dan strikt noodzakelijk is!

Ga op zoek naar walvissen met een natuurgids op een dagtocht vanuit Juneau. Spring aan boord van een boot en pak een verrekijker om andere dieren in het wild te spotten, zoals zeeleeuwen, Amerikaanse zeearenden en zwarte beren. Vertrek vanuit het centrum van Juneau met een bus bestuurd door een lokale gids via een schilderachtige route naar Auke Bay, waar je aan boord gaat van een comfortabele jetboot. Laat je leiden door een kapitein en natuuronderzoeker op een onvergetelijke zoektocht naar walvissen in Favorite Channel, Stephens Passage, Lynn Canal of Saginaw Channel. Er is een verrekijker aanwezig zodat u de bultruggen, orka's, Dall's bruinvissen, gewone zeehonden, Steller-zeeleeuwen, Amerikaanse zeearenden, zwarte beren en torenhoge bergen beter kunt zien. Met de groeiende overvloed aan walvissen in het gebied en hun comfort met kleine boten, zul je er ongetwijfeld veel zien. Deze tour omvat transfers tussen het centrum en Auke Bay en twee uur op het water. Inbegrepen in de prijs van de tour zijn versnaperingen aan boord, inclusief mineraalwater, koffie, warme chocolademelk en een kleine snack.

Our captain, Austin, and naturalist, Jayd, were amazing! We learned it was Austin’s second summer in this job and we felt confident and safe in his care— not only for the passengers onboard but also the marine life. He communicated with other boat operators and together they all worked together to give all the passengers the best experience possible. We also have high praise for Jayd, the naturalist. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of the marine life and Juneau area is to be commended. She was personable and friendly which added to the whole experience. There was a moment where she pointed out a baby humpback and you could tell she was just excited as we were, as if it was her first time but obviously was not. We made these arrangements directly with the excursion company rather than the cruise ship. It was easy to locate the meeting point on the pier for the shuttle ride to the embarkation point. Our shuttle driver was also knowledgeable and had some humorous jokes during his narration on the drive. He drove safely and talked to us about points of interest along the 1/2 hour drive (ea way). We have full confidence in recommending this jet boat whale watching tour to enhance your Juneau vacation!

I am a local Juneu resident that had adult family come for a visit- Wow, wow, wow! The whale came so close( on rheir own- we respected the laws) I literally could smell whale breath! No kidding! They were bubble netting today and Captain JJ had us in just the right place at the right time and Naturalist Kyle did an amazing job of keeping us on point for what predictable activities take place just before the Whales rise to tge surface! We enjoyed everything about tour/excursion

It was an amazing experience. We were so lucky to get to watch bubble net feed multiple times. The crew were very nice and knowledgeable.

We had a beautiful sunny day and natural so informative. I actually saw breaching ! Saw lots of whales and several of them were very close to our boat.
Very comfortable boat. Locally owned and the two crew who assisted us- Libby the naturalist and Capt JJ guided us to the whales snd it was such a rewarding experience.There was a group of tenor so and we watched then doing all sorts of wonderful things like lunge feeding. A once in a lifetime sighting
Fantastic! Great weather, great staff! Got us out safely in the water to watch the whales! Very respectful of other boats and the wildlife! Good information about the jumpy whales.
To start with, communication with the tour operator was outstanding! We were concerned that we might be late for the meeting spot because of a late docking of our ship and they immediately responded to our email with one or two options. Fortunately we made it to the meeting spot on time. The trip was wonderful and we saw lots of whales. Both the captain and the naturalist onboard were delightful. Definitely would recommend this tour.
