Walvissafari met papegaaiduikers en muffins (Andøy, Vesterålen)

Andøya is de verborgen plek van Noorwegen voor fantastische wilde dieren. Neem deel aan onze zomerse RIB-bootexcursie met walvissen/dieren in het wild om de kloof van Bleik en omgeving te verkennen. De kloof herbergt een overvloed aan zeedieren, waaronder de prachtige potvissen. Je krijgt ook de kans om andere zeezoogdieren tegen te komen, zoals grienden, orka's, dwergvinvissen en af en toe Risso's dolfijnen en gewone vinvissen. Al deze dieren bezoeken het gebied op zoek naar voedsel (verschillende vissoorten), wat ook bijzondere vogels en ander wild aantrekt. Bij het zoeken naar walvissen zullen we hoogstwaarschijnlijk verschillende vogels tegenkomen (papegaaiduikers, adelaars, jan-van-genten, enz.) terwijl we onze ogen openhouden voor gewone zeehonden. Neem deel aan onze 3,5 uur durende RIB-boottocht met maximaal 12 gasten om de wonderen van Bleik Canyon te verkennen. Tijdens de tour zal uw gids aan boord zijn om u informatie te geven over alle dieren in het wild die we tegenkomen, en foto's te maken (als herinneringen) om ze na de reis mee naar huis te nemen.

Booking was easy using their own website, received clear instructions how my experience would start (and where). They have all the equipment you need and give clear safety instructions and advice for (preventing) seasickness. We saw loads of pilot whales and the organisation is very respectful to them and knows a lot about them. Also saw a seal and lots of puffins. The organisation is trying to let you see the beauty of nature and animals, while being very respectful to them and their habitats. The crew is also very friendly and willing to help you whatsoever.
Terrible company! We travelled from the UK to Norway and boat trips were a main event. We had a great Puffin Safari on fast RIB from Andrenes with Whalesafari AS who made us very welcome. We were booked in for the whale safari with Green Gold of Norway and they turned us away as my 20yr old son has autism and wears ear defenders. Despite me saying he would take them off if needed and showing them pictures of him laughing on the RIB the day before they turned us away and refused a refund. Disgusting treatment, they should be ashamed of themselves. I wish I had booked both trips with the other company who were brilliant.
We had to turn you away because you did not inform us in advance about your son's disorder and we did not know how to handle this situation as we were not prepared. We have already issued a 100% refund.
Have been allowed to watch an entire orca family hunting. Super guide and super boater. Muffins and tea at the end were delicious
To see 2 sperm whales and experience them from a rib boat is crazy. The guide was very good and looked with sonar for where the whales were. Everything was safe and all the clothes needed were included. Don't miss this. A shame the 12 of us on the boat couldn't hear the sounds of the whales. Skaffa headset !
We booked the evening tour with tea and muffins. The procedure at the meeting point with getting dressed and getting on the boat already started a bit chaotic. Wouldn't have been asked too much to explain the whole trip first. The guide was really unmotivated from beginning to end. She whispered more than she talked. As we sat in the back, we did not understand a word of the facts that she told about the whales. However, the driver was trying his best and explained some facts. We saw one orca, which was a pretty cool experience. Nevertheless, the boat got too close in our opinion and drove after the orca. Because the whales were far off shore we had to drive a long way and did not go to see sperm whales in Bleik Canyon. Also, the visit to the puffin island was just for 2 minutes (because if the weather maybe). Against the description of the tour we did not get any tea and only a few participants got muffins at the very end. The dismissal was also strange and we were left there without any "thank you for joining us" or whatever.
Highly recommend taking this amazing whale watching trip in Bleik! The skipper and incredibly knowledgeable guide both went out of their way to give us an unforgettable experience. We left late in the evening (around 9:30 pm) and only returned at about 1 pm, our camera roll full of amazing photographs. It was bright sunshine on the water, and we spotted a minke whale, pod of orcas, and even went to the island nearby to see the puffins. Thank you so much, The Gold of Norway, we will never forget this experience!
