De rit duurt slechts 16 minuten vanuit Wenen Airport naar het centrum van de stad en de City Airport Train is daarmee de snelste manier om te reizen, zonder stress en files en op een milieuvriendelijke manier. De CAT rijdt tussen de luchthaven Wien-Schwechat en station Wien-Mitte elke dertig minuten van 's morgens vroeg tot 's avonds laat, 365 dagen per jaar. Er zijn comfortabele stoelen, voldoende beenruimte, gratis tijdschriften en kranten, nieuwsberichten op videoschermen, gratis supersnel draadloos internet, stopcontacten en USB-poorten aan boord.

The price is an absolute outrage!!! And then they aren't even capable of ordering the immediate repair of the elevator at the airport. You have to lug the heavy suitcases down the stairs, so that you almost fall down the stairs yourself. By the way, an escalator works in both directions!!! They should have just let the escalator run in the other direction after the people arriving at the airport got off. But the CAT staff is apparently too incompetent and negligent for that. The main thing is ripping people off. Truly an imposition.
Easy, friendly service, quiet. I highly recommend it. It was pleasurable to get to the airport on time and without a hassle.
Extremely convenient and fast transport that arrives in the heart of Vienna. You can find free lockers with your ticket, allowing you to have your hands free while waiting for your hotel!

We didn’t realize public transit would have been nearly as fast and about 1/3 the cost. That said we bought a return ticket and used a discount so it wasn’t too bad. The service was excellent and train was clean.
The CAT service provides a quick, safe journey to and from the airport. Easy transfer to the ubahn. Friendly staff. The local trains are much cheaper so catch them if you can.
Hardly any added value, only a few minutes savings compared to the S-Bahn and but disrupts the rest of the traffic for ordinary citizens.
Non-stop connection between the airport and Wiener Mitte station. The OBB tracks are used, but because the swimming companies are different, it is expensive at an extra cost. The decision is whether to choose nonstop convenience or price.
