De Lauterbrunnen e-biketocht met vliegende wielen is een waar hoogtepunt voor natuurliefhebbers en vakantiegangers. De tocht voert u door een van de meest adembenemende alpenvalleien van Zwitserland – het Lauterbrunnental, vaak aangeduid als het “dal van de 72 watervallen”. De allereerste glimp van de smalle vallei, omlijst door steile kliffen met dramatische watervallen, weelderige groene weiden en traditionele chalets, is gewoonweg verbluffend. Met de hoogwaardige e-bikes van Flying Wheels glijdt u moeiteloos en milieuvriendelijk door het alpenlandschap en passeert u brullende watervallen zoals de Staubbach- en de Trümmelbach-watervallen – dit laatste een verborgen natuurwonder in de berg. En niet te vergeten : onze beroemde Swiss Mountain Picnic! Alles is inbegrepen in de prijs. We starten in het centrum van Interlaken aan de Höheweg 133, bij de Flying Wheels fietsenwinkel (retourpunt is ook hier)
Een kerk uit de 12e eeuw, een eeuwenoude houten brug die al eeuwen overstromingen doorstond en enkele oude houten chalets uit de 16e eeuw : deze halte is een waar juweeltje op weg naar Lauterbrunnen

Onze beroemde Zwitserse picknick is een van de hoogtepunten van onze e-bike tour! In tegenstelling tot andere touroperators, die u geen of alleen goedkope picknickopties geven, trakteren wij u op hoogwaardige lokale gerechten zoals zelfgemaakte worst, echte alpenkaas, vers brood van een lokale bakker enz. Natuurlijk zijn vegetarische of veganistische opties op aanvraag beschikbaar. We serveren deze picknick op een prachtige plek in het midden van het Lauterbrunnendal, met uitzichten die je niet zult geloven. Mis deze heerlijke picknick niet!
In Lauterbrunnen bezoeken we de machtige Truemmelbach-watervallen in de berg, waar tot 20.000 liter water per seconde door de smalle kloof dondert.
Op de terugweg vanuit Lauterbrunnen bezoeken we het Brienzermeer, een turquoise-groene droom afkomstig van gletsjerwater. Van daaruit fietsen we terug naar Flying Wheels langs de kristalheldere Aare rivier.

- Dit is een tour op gemiddeld niveau en dus NIET geschikt voor personen die er niet op vertrouwen dat ze op een fiets rijden! Om veiligheidsredenen voeren we een fietstest uit voordat de tour begint. Als je inlogt, maar uit de test blijkt dat jij (of een persoon die je hebt aangemeld) alleen op het niveau van de beginner fietsvaardigheid zit, moeten we je (of elke persoon die je hebt aangemeld) van de tour uitsluiten. In deze gevallen is er GEEN RESTITUTIE. Bedankt voor uw begrip.
- Tieners moeten minstens 16 jaar zijn om deel te nemen aan deze tour, en vergezeld zijn van een volwassene die de wettelijke disclaimer ondertekent
- Deze tour is NIET geschikt voor kinderen / tieners jonger dan 16 jaar. Aanhangwagens of kinderzitjes zijn niet mogelijk
- Werkt bij lichte regen, kleed je gepast (regenjassen en -broeken, handschoenen enz. worden gratis door ons verstrekt). Bij hevige regen wordt de tour kosteloos geannuleerd. Vertrouw alstublieft niet te veel op voorspellingen, maar neem contact met ons op voordat u verkeerde conclusies trekt over het weer op de dag van de tour. We zijn in de bergen en de weersvoorspellingen kloppen niet altijd.
- Er is een gewichtslimiet voor fietsen en e-bikes van 110 kg. Om verzekerings- en zakelijke aansprakelijkheidsredenen mogen wij de e-bike niet uitdelen als je boven die limiet zit.

Our guide was absolutely fantastic. Despite being dealt a terrible hand with the weather, he remained positive, professional, and did everything he could to make the experience enjoyable. He deserves a lot of credit for his attitude and efforts throughout the tour. As an example- the torrential downpour's only apparent upside was that the falls were incredible and more forceful than he'd ever seen in years. His excitement over this was infectious in a good way. Unfortunately, the company itself was disappointing. We were sent out in terrible weather. They delayed the tour due to the weather and then told us their system said weather was improving. We questioned this as we could clearly see online that worse weather was scheduled. In the end, most of our ride was in a torrential downpour, and at no point were we offered the option to reschedule or postpone for better weather conditions. Instead, we felt pressured to continue with the tour despite the conditions being unpleasant and, at times, potentially unsafe. An e-bike tour is supposed to be an enjoyable experience, and the weather made that nearly impossible. It felt as though the company was prioritizing keeping the booking and collecting payment over providing a quality customer experience. When we returned (the weather improved at the very end), they commended us on being 'the only group to complete the tour that day'- which makes me think the others came back part way in a van. I want to be clear that this review is not a reflection of our guide, who was exceptional. My concerns are with the company's decision-making and lack of flexibility in handling severe weather conditions. In the future I hope the tour company is more upfront about giving people an option to reschedule.
Hi Jessica Thanks for leaving your review. Well, what you describe as "the company was prioritizing keeping the booking and collecting payment over providing a quality customer experience" is the opposite of what we actually do in reality and what we did on the tour you took part. Firstly: you are correct with saying, that the weather didn't develop like we anticipated it. Still, if the probability of rain is high, we always ask, if the customers still want to take part or if they want to cancel. And we only ask this, if it is possible to start the tour. If the rain is too strong or can get too strong, we cancel the tour and provide a full refund. And if you cancel because of heavy rain, we refund you as well. Exact this happened to some other participants we had on that day: after they decided not to cancel right from the start, the guide and them decided in the middle of the tour to stop. We picked them up by van and refunded 50%. I spoke to your guide (Marceau) and he said, that you were informed several times about your cancellation options: 1) before the tour started, Marceau asked all of you (3 in your party and 1 other couple),if you want to start in the rain. All agreed to start, including you and your family 2) when during the tour it turns out that the weather in fact got worst than expected, Marceau asked you at least two more times to stop the tour: firstly after like 1 hour in Zweilütschinen, and then again after the visit to the Trümmelbach Waterfalls. Nobody wanted to cancel, again. Now I see your review. Marceau, when I talked to him before I wrote this reply, had a 100% clear remembrance of that day (he even remebered all you names, just BTW), and he told me what I put in writing here in my reply. As the owner I define the procedures on how to act in case of bad weather. Marceau and in generral all our guides stick to this procedures, and Marceau did exact what he is supposed to do in case of bad weather. The bottom line is: you were offered not only once to cancel the tour, but you all decided to continue. Marceau was quite surprised resp. disappointed to learn, what you wrote here in this review. Just one more detail from my end: we tried to reschedule your tour, but there was no match between the possible alternative days with free spots, and your vacation schedules, hence there was no alternative dates. Again: we followed our standard procedures, but rescheduling didn't work. Hence you all decided to do the tour on the booked day, although you were offered to cancel at least 3 times, at the beginning, after 1 hour and after the visit to the Trümmelbach Falls. There were other parties going on our guided tours that day. My guides asked them, if they want to start (they all wanted) and to stop the tour in the light of the strong rain. Some wanted to stop and we picked them resp. the e-bikes up and refunded part of the tour price. Other ones continued. This decision is always a personal decision per guest and we support every single person in his/her decision to either continue or stop. And again: if the weather is really bad (thunder, lightning, hail etc.) we don´t even start the tours and refund everybody. Marceau will write you a message (you exchanged telephone numbers) to ask again, why you wrote this review in the way you wrote it. This tour definitely was one of the best I have done in Interlaken, the tour guide was so lovely and accommodating. We were explained what to do and if we needed assistance. We had a lovely lunch which was well deserved after ridding! Definitely recommend to book!!!!
We had a wonderful time on our tour with our guide Marsous. He was very personable and flexible to make sure we all saw what we wanted to. The sights were amazing as was a picnic lunch he prepared. I would recommend this tour to all, but just keep in mind you do need a moderate level of fitness.
George was an excellent and attentive guide. He kept the group cohesive and safe. He shared his knowledge of the area in a delightful way and prepared a very nice lunch for us all.
George was fantastic! He was an entertaining and informative guide with lots of knowledge. The bikes were a lot of fun, but I didn't realize how much effort an eBike still required! It was a great time all the way around.

This bike experience through Lauterbrunnen Valley was a highlight of our trip! Our guide George was friendly & knowledgeable, and the ride was easy on the ebikes. I would recommend this trip for the traveler who wants to get a little movement on their trip, but it's not rigorous. Beautiful way to spend a day!
Beautiful day for a ride. Marceau was a great guide as we biked through the valley. The picnic lunch was perfect for the day. Definitely a top tour in my book as you will never see anything as beautiful.
