Ervaar een volledig begeleide tour door twee hoofdsteden van het land: Washington D.C. (huidige) en Philadelphia, PA (eerste ooit) in één dag! Bezoek en leer over de meest iconische bezienswaardigheden van deze twee historische steden, waaronder het Witte Huis, het Amerikaanse Capitool, Lincoln Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial, de Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, de Rocky Steps voor het Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Na onze busreis en onder begeleiding van onze gids arriveert u in de indrukwekkende stad Washington DC, de hoofdstad van de Verenigde Staten.
Kom langs het grootste gebouw van het land, het Pentagon.
Kom langs het kerkhof, waar ze soldaten begraven.
De opwindende hoek werd in 1995 gewijd aan Koreaanse oorlogsveteranen, de herdenkingsmuur en 19 roestvrijstalen beelden
Ter ere van de mannen en vrouwen die hebben gediend in de controversiële oorlog in Vietnam

Philadelphia, de grootste stad in Pennsylvania, gesticht in 1682, was de eerste hoofdstad van Noord-Amerika, de bakermat van de democratie
Je eerste stop is in het Independence National Historical Park, waar je gids je zal leiden op een korte wandeling. U krijgt de gelegenheid om enkele van de belangrijkste historische bezienswaardigheden te zien, zoals de Liberty Bell, het beroemde symbool van de onafhankelijkheid van Amerika, en Independence Hall, de geboorteplaats van de Verenigde Staten

Je bezoek aan Philadelphia wordt afgesloten met een stop bij de Rocky Trappen, voor het Philadelphia Museum of Art, waar je de mogelijkheid hebt om de beroemde scène uit de film uit 1976 na te spelen door naar de top van de trappen te gaan.
Deze fontein bevindt zich bij het Eakins-ovaal en heeft een bronzen sculptuur van de eerste president George Washington, gemonteerd op een paard.

- De wet van de staat New York vereist dat alle kinderen tijdens het rijden in een motorvoertuig in een geschikt kinderzitje worden vastgezet totdat ze 8 jaar oud zijn. Vanaf 1 november 2019 moeten alle kinderen jonger dan 2 jaar in een achterwaarts gericht autostoeltje rijden.
- Buschauffeurs zijn niet verplicht om zitplaatsen voor kinderen te bieden en de aanbieder van de activiteit is niet verantwoordelijk als u geen toegang tot de bus kunt krijgen. Om er zeker van te zijn dat uw kind een zitplaats heeft, moet u uw eigen zitplaats meenemen of de activiteitenaanbieder ruim van tevoren informeren

It was a nice trip. Couple of hiccups here and there. but its understandable since its one day before independence day and we experience a lot of closures and detours and accidents. It’s a good first tour around the Capital so you know what to expect when you go there on your own.
We found our meeting point easily enough. Coach was already there for our 5am start. We stopped for breakfast after 2 hours and then moved on to sightseeing, things pointed out along the way, we saw the Arlington war graves and the Lincoln museum along with other statues and our guide was very informative with the American history. We then had an hour for lunch. We moved on to see the Lincoln Bell and finally the rocky statue. Which was our personal highlight. We saw bits of the white house but unfortunately not from the front as we went just ahead of 4th july celebrations and alot was fenced off, tho this didnt really spoil the day. Air conditioned coach with toilets, and a very smooth drive by Roberto and our guide for the day was Carlos. A long day, but worth it.
The guide was very willing, friendly, and explained the history of each place to us. Sufficient time at each place to explore.
It was a ling day, but good to get an overview of Washington and Philadelphia within a day. Carlos the guide was super helpful, welcoming and nice.
A very complete tour, we had Jay as our guide, who was very good, very kind, and provided excellent explanations. For a full-day tour, everything was very well organized, and it was a very nice experience.

I am so disappointed with this company. They have TERRIBLE communication and you can’t get through to anyone when you call. I left several messages and no response. They sent me a message saying that they had to cancel my tour because of “logistics.” They sent his message through their app that you download. I responded and told them that their proposed make up day for the tour wouldn’t work for me. I asked for another option, they said they possibly could and they would wait for my reply. I replied right away each time because this tour we were very excited for. I messaged them like four more times practically begging for confirmation that I would be on the next tour because I was going to have to cancel other tours and rearrange my days. No response and I was desperate for an answer. I went ahead and booked the day I needed through booking and hoped they didn’t cancel this one. The tour itself is a very long day! So much is rushed and I never felt like I really had time to see much. There was zero time to buy anything or get souvenirs. The tour guide was nice but this company is very shady. I messaged after the tour now three times and tried calling because do to all the cancelling and rebooking, I still have the charge from the day that they never refunded but said they were unable to add my daughter and I due to logistics. They also send messages telling you that you need the audio files in order to have the best experience. No one ever used them and they aren’t even referenced during the tour and it was an extra charge. I am so upset with this company and their lack of communication. There are many other tour groups out there…stay away from this one. You can definitely tell they take advantage of people from out of the country who do not know.

Carlos who speaks English and Spanish was a great tour guide for our bus trip covering Washington + Philadelphia and recommendations when we got back to NYC cafe and restaurant tips and advice. It was a long day, after lunch you do get tired but then when you hop off to see the amazing sights and the history of Lincoln, american war memorial and the US independence it perks you up again and its so profound. Highly recommended A+
