Wasbeereiland Verkenning op SUP/Kayak
Beschrijving
Vergezel ons terwijl we een verscheidenheid aan eilanden langs Biscayne Bay verkennen. Kajak eerst je weg door wilde ecosystemen en maak dan een spannende boottocht naar het beroemde Spandspur Island, algemeen aangeduid als Raccoon Island vanwege de vriendelijke volgzame wasberen die het bewonen. Je krijgt tijd om het eiland te verkennen, te zwemmen en foto's te maken van de dieren die op dit eiland leven. Wij zullen zorgen voor drankjes en vers fruit voor u om te genieten langs de rit. Gasten worden aangemoedigd om water geschikte kleding en schoenen te dragen. Als u op zoek bent naar kleinere groepsgrootte, eerdere tour is het beste.

Na het kajakken stapt u aan boord van onze boot en vertrekt u naar Sandspur Island aka Raccoon Island. De Gids geeft les over de natuur en zoekt onderweg naar wilde dieren. Zodra we aankomen, krijg je de kans om te verkennen, zwemmen en ontmoet een aantal harige vrienden. Zelfstandige eilandverkenning*

Literally the best day of my life! The guides were awesome! Nothing was better than seeing the beautiful raccoons. We were worried that we wouldn’t see any at our 9:00am experience since they are typically nocturnal. Thankfully we were wrong. So many cute little raccoons!❤️
Enjoyed every part of this tour from the boat ride out to our kayaks, to getting to kayak through the mangroves, then paddling over to Raccoon Island to feed tons of little trash pandas! They weren’t easy to find at first and we had to walk the island for a bit, but once we did, at least 15-20 of them popped out of the woods to feast on grapes, watermelon, and the surprise hit, cat treats. I literally could have spent the entire day interacting with them.
Awesome experience, wasn’t given the option to paddleboard though despite it being listed as an option.

Sean and Devon were fantastic, Loved Raccoon Island!! Had fun kayaking through the mangroves and to the islands. A few notes for others - Pick up is a little confusing, boat arrives at 9am so won’t see it waiting as a guide. Would recommend jandals, crocs etc not sneakers as don’t wear anything for kayaking only need on the island.
Explored the mangroves, a couple islands, and swam. Great way to spend an afternoon. Devon and Kelsey told us about the natural environment and waterways. The pickup dock is shared so there are no signs, but it is indeed the first floating dock about 200ft left of the marina docks.
Devon and Kelsey were great! We saw many raccoons on the island!
So much fun! We were able to see a manatee, crabs, fish, iguanas, and racoons! The Mangrove forest was beautiful and serene. Kelsey was very knowledgeable about how the ecosystem worked. Devin and Kelsey were amazing guides! Would love to do this with our whole family.
Definitely recommend! Francis and Cody were our guides and they did not disappoint. Raccoon island was SO fun! The raccoons are adorable are will come right up to you. Bring a water bottle for them to drink from and they will love you!
