Warschau en koninklijk kasteel
Beschrijving
Dit is een uitgebreide optie voor de rondleiding door de stad Warschau. Na een bezoek aan het Lazienki-park, waar u paleizen en paviljoens kunt bewonderen, en vervolgens langs de Koninklijke Route rijdt, wandelen in de oude stad - een plaats op de lijst van cultureel erfgoed van UNESCO, de huizen ziet waar Madame Curie werd geboren en waar Chopin woonde, zullen we stoppen in een van de kleine cafés van de oude stad voor de lunch, waar u kunt genieten van typisch Poolse gerechten, en vervolgens een bezoek brengt aan het koninklijke kasteel, dat in de jaren '70 herbouwd is, en veel wonderbaarlijk bewaard gebleven originele schilderijen, meubels en kunstobjecten vertoont. Dit is waar Poolse koningen woonden, waar zittingen van het Parlement plaatsvonden, en waar je nu Rembrandt's schilderijen en andere kostbare meesterwerken kunt zien.

Barbican was deels verdedigingssysteem en de poort die leidde naar de middeleeuwse stad. Het geeft de opening naar New Town, dat in feite het op een na oudste deel van Warschau is. Moeite waard om te zien.
Afgezien van het historische deel van Warschau, ziet u ook het recent gebouwde moderne deel van de binnenstad met veel hoogbouw, soms Warschau Manhattan genoemd.

Let's start by saying that the castle is a refurbished historical building in the Polish capital city. Everything you will see is the result of decades of research and construction work. Unfortunately, the only thing that I find a bit annoying is the incomplete knowledge of English by some people (e.g. room guards, wardrobe, security guards). It is so unpleasant that if you ask them a question, they automatically answer in Polish. Many tourists visit the castle, and most of them are not always Polish! I recommend that something should be done as soon as possible to ensure that the following employees learn English at least at a B1 or B2 level!
Really spectacle and ornate castle. There is lots of furniture however a lot of the things inside and all of the castle is a recreation because it was destroyed during World War 2. Most information is translated into English so it’s fairly easy to understand without a tour. We went on Wednesday which is a free day. We were able to visit the majority of the castle for free except for paid exhibitions. We did have to wait in the cue for about 30 minutes but it was not crowded when we got inside. People were lined up even before the museum opened.
Good that you enjoyed your visit of Royal Castle. But if you did take a guide, you would know that things inside (furniture and paintings) are nor recreation, on the contrary, each one has a fascinated history behind it. Only the walls are recreation, that's true. Enjoy your tour in Poland!
It is fully restored as it was before the war. Few pieces are original but not many. Staff do not speak English except in information center. There is left luggage storage room for free. Allocate 2 to 3 hours for this activity. Picture is from conference room.
