Dit is de perfecte omweg voor fijnproevers. Een van de belangrijkste kenmerken van de cultuur van een plaats is de keuken. Het weerspiegelt eeuwen geschiedenis en vertegenwoordigt de gemeenschap van volkeren met de natuurlijke hulpbronnen van hun regio. Tijdens deze tour is het doel om onze gasten kennis te laten maken met de ingrediënten en gerechten die gemaakt zijn en deel uitmaken van het leven in Porto. De route die plaatsvindt in het historische centrum van de stad en de verschillende haltes voor het proeven van eten en drinken met elkaar verbindt, is ook een gelegenheid om wat meer over deze stad te weten te komen.

Een van de meest levendige straten van Porto. Een straat bekend bij de lokale handel. Hier is de tijd die het zal duren om van de ene plaats naar de andere
Bolhão markt wordt het beschouwd als de verse producten markt van de stad en wordt gekenmerkt door de diversiteit van kleuren, aroma's en smaken. Architect Nuno Valentim wilde identiteit en samenhang teruggeven aan het gebouw, het gebouw heropenen voor de stad en de functie en het aspect ervan actualiseren.
Na het eten zullen we de linker tijd gebruiken om het treinstation van São Bento te bezoeken, dat bekend staat om een van de grootste tegelcollecties in Portugal. Elk tegelpaneel vertelt iets over de geschiedenis van Portugal.

Ana was a fantastic guide! She was so knowledgeable and curated fantastic experiences at each stop. She also made sure to share tidbits of interesting information along the way. Our children age 11 and 12 were thoughtfully taken care of with alternative drink choices and even some bonus sweets at one of our tasting locations. This tour helped make me feel like a local. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in learning more about Porto and wanting an authentic experience. Thanks Ana!!
Carlota was the absolute best tour guide we could of asked for. We started the day off with a traditional pastel de nata and espresso, traveled around the city, ate some of the most delicious and traditional foods of Porto and became close friends with Carlota by the end of the trip. Not only did Carlota have a deep knowledge of Porto’s history, she also clearly has a great palate for food as everything was beyond expectation. My mother, grandmother, and I are very excited for our next trip to Porto, Portugal. Best day ever!!!

Our guide Ana was amazing. This was not a cooks cutter food tour where you spend 5 min here and gotta go. She used our interests in planning stops and pointed out other places to visit in our free time. The " " " food tour " was delicious and a true taste of Portuguese cuisine. So much fun tasting different Portuguese specialties at local spots around Porto. Our guide Andre was excellent, telling us about the foods and city history, while also modifying as needed to keep it fun for the kids. Highly recommend!
I love that we were able to take the rest of the Charcuterie food back to our hotel since it was alot of food between me and my husband. Raquel showed us were to exchange our cash and was very patient since it took awhile to get it done. She took us to dinner and everything was good. Plenty of food. It was a personalized tour. Recommend Raquel anytime.

We made 2 friends today. Our guide, Neuza and her trainee Rita, were the dynamic duo and fooled us thinking they were a team who’d been together for years. This was Rita’s first food tour and she’s already a pro I hope others will have an opportunity to tour with both together because the conversations are natural and seamless. My wife and I are celebrating 40 years, and these two gave us a truly warm and fun experience. Great eatery choices and foods selected for the tour. Thank you both.
