Proef lokaal vlees, lokaal geproduceerde sterke dranken, handgemaakte chocolaatjes en unieke specialiteiten terwijl u de historische wijk Germantown verkent tijdens onze wandel- en culturele tour. Germantown is de oudste wijk van Nashville en een van de nieuwste en meest trendy herontwikkelde gebieden. De met baksteen omzoomde straten, Victoriaanse huizen en leuke winkeltjes zijn vernieuwd en bieden nu eet- en drinkervaringen die je niet wilt missen! Onderweg bezoek je de Farmer's Market, loop je door de fonteinen, vlaggenmasten en klokkentorens van Bicentennial Mall, passeer je de Walk of Counties, Sulphur Dell Park en loop je over de top van de historische French Lick Creek, terwijl we delen de verhalen over de beginjaren van Nashville en de huidige cultuur, allemaal met een deskundige en leuke lokale gids en een kleine groep mede-foodavonturiers!

We beginnen de tour met de prachtig ontworpen Bicentennial Mall, waar fonteinen, beiaarden, unieke pleinen en een prachtig uitzicht op het hoofdstadgebouw allemaal de toon zetten voor een informatieve en heerlijke tour.
Grenzend aan het State Park ligt de nationaal erkende boerenmarkt van Nashville, waar niet alleen unieke en lokaal gemaakte gerechten te vinden zijn, maar ook ambachtslieden en ambachtslieden die graag hun vaardigheden met de gemeenschap willen delen.
Je ziet het State History Museum op weg naar extra eetstops en een fascinerende rondleiding door Germantown, de eerste "buitenwijk" van Nashville en de thuisbasis van heerlijk eten en historische bezienswaardigheden, samen met Victoriaanse architectuur en bakstenen trottoirs. De perfecte plek om tussen de eetstops door te wandelen!
Onderweg ervaar je in totaal vijf proeverijen van eten en drinken, wat voor de meeste deelnemers voldoende eten voor de lunch oplevert. Je proeft lokaal vlees, gebak en zoetwaren, en deelt een ijzige cocktail en begeleide proeverij in een hyperlokale distilleerderij.
Onze familiedistilleerderij is de perfecte plek om aan het einde van je tour af te koelen met een inbegrepen cocktail en een lichte, luchtige plek om uit te rusten na iets meer dan anderhalve kilometer wandelen tijdens de tour. Hier leer je hoe sterke dranken worden gemaakt en kun je unieke sterke dranken uitproberen. In totaal omvat de tour vijf proeverijen en ongeveer anderhalve kilometer wandelen gedurende ongeveer drie uur. We kunnen niet wachten om je een geweldige tijd te bezorgen in een van de populairste en meest historische gebieden van Nashville!

Scott was our guide. Real interesting fellow who is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on the history of Nashville and the legendary country/bluegrass music found there. Thoroughly enjoyed spending 3 hours with him sampling food & drink, touring the city park and going to the farmers market & Germantown. On our next trip to Nashville we hope to join up with him again.
The tour was okay. It is a lot of walking, and too few stops in between. We walked a very long time before we came to the first food stop. All of the food stops were crammed together at the end. And you didn't get much time to eat the food. It was a very hot day, and trying to eat all the food at once did not agree with my stomach. I wish they would have been spaced out more. I thought we were going to stop at the marketplace as advertised in the beginning of the tour, but we didn't. Our guide said it is a really good place and if we had time we should stop and check it out after the tour. That was very disappointing. Needless to say we weren't going to walk all the way back to where we started by the end of the tour. The guide was informative, but could have been more engaging. I believe his name was Ian, not positive.
Evan was the perfect combination of historian, comedian, and friendly tour guide. Evan gave us lots of insight tips about where to eat where to find things in town, and how to make the most of our experience as visitors. Evan was extremely friendly and approachable, and the food was delicious.
We got so lucky! We were supposed to go on a walking tour and the weather was awful! The tour company happily changed our tour to a driving tour and wow! We were blown away! Our guide Scott was OUTSTANDING! He made our tour so entertaining and informative - we laughed and laughed and the food and drink were the bonus! Thanks so much!

Re: 1 stat due to lack of response from vendor I bought my event via trip advisor. After I realized I put in the wrong email address, I called their office and emailed multiple times/days to get a confirmation that I was booked on tour (the initial message from the trip advisor said they are checking if there is space on the tour). No one has responded. Which I find to be extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
