Hoewel het een gratis wandeltocht is, beloven we je een onvergetelijke reis door tijd en geschiedenis. Bereid je voor om interessante informatie te ontvangen over de beroemdste plekken van Salt Lake City.

Ons eerste ontmoetingspunt zal dit monument zijn. Onze Gids geeft een inleidende blik op de tour.
We bezoeken City Creek, waar een beek door het centrum loopt. Daarna stoppen we bij het Utah Sports Hall of Fame Museum, waar namen en verhalen uit de sportgeschiedenis van de stad te vinden zijn.
Vanaf de buitenkant van dit gebouw geeft onze Gids informatie over de transcontinentale trein en andere interessante geschiedenis.
In dit met geschiedenis gevulde gebouw vertelt onze Gids verhalen over wat er in dit gebouw is gebeurd en wat ir betekent voor de mensen in de gemeenschap.
We stoppen bij de FamilySearch Library, een wereldberoemd centrum voor genealogisch onderzoek met records van over de hele wereld. Vanaf de buitenkant van dit gebouw zal onze Gids bespreken wat er in dit gebouw gebeurt/
We maken een korte stop bij dit gebouw, dat informatie bevat over de belangrijkste religie in de stad. Onze Gids zal ons voorzien van aanvullende informatie.
We passeren het Triad Center, een centrumcomplex met kantoren, uitzendstudio's en nabijgelegen culturele bezienswaardigheden.
Geniet van de foto's, maar nog meer, omarm de geschiedenis en culturele referentie achter dit gebouw. Op weg naar het Pioneer Museum zal onze Gids ons informatie geven over de gebeurtenissen die daar hebben plaatsgevonden en hoe het de lokale gemeenschap heeft gevormd.
Op weg naar het State Capitol Building vertelt onze Gids ons over wat er met de stichtingspioniers is gebeurd die hier zijn aangekomen en hun verhalen.
Dit gebouw is niet alleen van buiten mooi, maar ook van binnen. Onze Gids zal ons voorzien van de architectonische en historische achtergrond van het huis aan de overheid van de staat.
In dit prachtige gebouw vertelt onze Gids over de kunstwerken en evenementen die er worden gehouden. Bereid je voor op een prachtige reis!

Orlando was an AMAZING tour guide!!! He is very knowledgeable about the rich history of SLC and we learned a lot from our experience with him! We were also lucky enough to have had the opportunity to see the world famous Tabernacle Choir since we went this past Sunday! It was a great experience and definitely a must do for your first time exploring the city! We highly recommend it!

Our tour guide was a very sweet and friendly person, but almost the entire tour was about the history of the Mormon Church. Just a small bit about Salt Lake City and Utah. It was almost a commercial for the church. Was hoping for a more balanced and varied tour.
This is a walking tour that primarily focuses on the downtown district surrounding Temple Square. My tour guide, Arnoldo was wonderful. He is an amateur historian and answered every question I asked. I now more fully understand the Mormon Church. One of the best tours ever.

Thank you for having me Orlando! Orlando is a lovely man and gave me a great tour of the history of the city, Brigham Young and the LDS Church in Salt Lake. He showed me how to access lots of places I didn’t know I could get into, pointed out great food spots to try while I’m here and gave me tips for the rest of my time in the city (e.g. when the Tabernacle Choir are next performing). Really well paced tour, he ran it for me even though it’s off season and I was here on my own! Would highly recommend to anyone who has just arrived in the city and is trying to orientate themselves.
The guide was knowledgeable, pleasant and he knew his stuff about Salt Lake City as well as the US and how it all started here! He provided some extra opportunities for photos and experiences that were along the way. The walking pace was comfortable and easy to navigate.
Perfectly paced walking tour with a sturdy history front load that helped place the city sights in context. Highly recommended for visitors looking at the history of SLC
The information was interesting. Our guide was very soft spoken and difficult to hear due to this and external noises: construction, traffic. He often peppered in long descriptions of his family and my attention wandered.
