Door dit product te boeken, beleeft u een onvergetelijke ervaring: een wandeling van ongeveer 2 - 3 uur door dorp en bos in de buurt met de lokale bevolking om agroforestry en het platteland in Yogyakarta, vlakbij de Merapi-vulkaan, te zien. Tijdens de tour zie je prachtige natuur, cultuur, lokale huizen, het lokale leven, kruiden en planten om te ontspannen en je geest en lichaam te verfrissen. De Merapi-vulkaan is de meest actieve vulkaan van Indonesië. Als het niet bewolkt is, heb je het geluk dat je de vulkaan duidelijk kunt zien. Daarna heeft u tijd om uit te rusten en te lunchen in een restaurant. Er zijn enkele opties voor restaurants. De tour is inclusief ophaalservice vanaf je hotel in de stad Yogyakarta en nadat de tour is afgelopen, wordt je afgezet bij je hotel in de stad Yogyakarta. Je gaat Agroforestry en Countryside Tour doen in het Merapi-vulkaangebied. Je maakt een wandeling van ongeveer 2 uur door de natuur en het dorp in het noorden van Yogyakarta. Je voelt de sfeer van het platteland en het bos en ziet het leven van de lokale bevolking. Je ziet enkele bomen en planten die in het bos groeien en aan het einde van de tour ontspan je in het lokale huis.

We had an amazing tour to the Selogriyo Rice Terraces, target of the walk was the Mendut Temple. But every step was worth to go within the absolut silent and peaceful green landscape. Our driver Handoko was a fantastic tour guide! We enjoyed every minute, resting with a very tasty handmade coffee and banana cake was very welcome. Handoko fulfilled us every wish and gave us any time we needed. Everything was organized carefully, very good immediate communication. This gave us the chance even to connect the tour with a hotel transport from Yogyakarta to Borobudur. Many thanks for the wonderful day.

An excellent walking tour. Wahyu picked us up from our hotel in Yogyakarta and brought us to a village at the foot of Mt Merapi. There we met up with a local guide, Pak Yanto, who guided us through the forest and countryside surrounding the village. Peaceful forest, excellent views of Mt Merapi, and both Pak Yanto and Wahyu are very friendly and knowledgeable about the countryside and history of the village and volcano. Saw a chameleon too – awesome. Topped off with local tea and snacks in Pak Yanto’s lovely home. Terima kasih!

We loved discovering the small village in the countryside, throughout the visit we were explained the different fruits, vegetables, spices that are found in the wild, it was really enriching.

We enjoyed a walk around Sultan Palace and Taman Sari (they were closed on polling day on 14Feb), admiring the traditional Javanese architecture. Then we headed to Mt Merapi for an exciting jeep ride and short hike. Our guide, Wahyu, was very knowledgeable, his sharing of the last volcano eruption made our visit meaningful. He brought us to a place for sumptious local food that is pocket-friendly. The banana fritters were delicious and not to be missed. We enjoyed durians on our way back. Wonderful trip, beautiful memories and fantastic guide! Thank you, Wahyu!

If you are looking for a quiet, authentic walk 1 hour drive from Yogyakarta, Wahyu will take you to a very friendly guide who will introduce you to local plants. Unfortunately the heavy rains did not allow us to finish the 2 hour trek. But the atmosphere and the beauty of the site was there. To do again.
