Wandeltocht door het historische centrum van Napels
Beschrijving
Beginnend met een klassieke Napolitaanse traditie: een koffie en een warme sfogliatella. Daarna dompelen we ons onder in het kloppend hart van de stad, Spaccanapoli, de beroemdste decumanus van Napels. We gaan omhoog door een van de meest iconische straten, San Gregorio Armeno en in een van de winkels reizen we door de ogen van een van de bekendste ambachtslieden om een oud ambacht te ontdekken dat nog steeds leeft. We gaan verder met een bezoek aan de kerk van San Gregorio Armeno, een uitstekend voorbeeld van Napolitaanse barok. Daarna gaan we naar San Lorenzo Maggiore, een kerk waar een kroning, een wijding, een geheime begrafenis en zelfs een verboden liefde zou hebben plaatsgevonden. En nadat we enkele geheimen en mysteries hebben onthuld, lopen we via dei Tribunali naar de kerk van Santa Maria delle Anime del Purgatorio ad Arco, waar we de cultus van pezzentelle-zielen zullen ontdekken en eindigen voor de klokkentoren van Pietrasanta, de oudste in de stad.

De lagere decumanus, die de officiële namen heeft van via Benedetto Croce en via Forcella in het centrale gebied, maar gewoonlijk Spaccanapoli wordt genoemd, is een verkeersader in het oude centrum van Napels en is een van de belangrijkste straten in de stad.
Via San Gregorio Armeno is een straat in het historische centrum van Napels, beroemd om het toerisme vanwege de ambachtelijke winkels met kerststallen. Tegenwoordig staat via San Gregorio Armeno over de hele wereld bekend als het tentoonstellingscentrum van de handwerkwinkels die hier het hele jaar door beeldjes maken voor kerststallen, zowel canoniek als origineel (meestal maken de meest excentrieke ambachtslieden elk jaar beeldjes met de kenmerken van karakters met een strikte actualiteit die in de loop van het jaar misschien positief of negatief opvielen).
De basiliek van San Lorenzo Maggiore is een monumentale basiliek in Napels, een van de oudste in de stad, gelegen in het historische centrum, vlakbij Piazza San Gaetano. Het religieuze complex herbergt de oprichting van het Museo dell'Opera di San Lorenzo Maggiore, dat ook toegang biedt tot de gelijknamige archeologische opgravingen. Inhoudsopgave
Tegenwoordig is de decumanus major een van de belangrijkste straten in het historische centrum van Napels (in 1995 uitgeroepen tot werelderfgoed) en komt overeen met de huidige via dei Tribunali die nog steeds volledig de oude Griekse wegenas volgt. Juist omdat het een wegenstructuur is die stamt uit het oude Griekenland, zou men beter kunnen spreken van plateia en niet van "decumanus", een naam uit de Romeinse tijd die volgens afspraak het origineel verving.
Het is de klokkentoren van de Pietrasanta-kerk in Napels1, waartoe hij behoort als het enige overblijfsel van de primitieve versie, waarvan hij geïsoleerd blijft met een gevel die openstaat voor via Tribunali en nog een andere via del Giudice.

We just got back from our friend Lisa's bachelorette party! Two fantastic days in Naples. We participated in the treasure hunt together with Lucia... what about... Lucia was just extraordinary .. she made us have fun like crazy! He never stopped smiling and revealed many curiosities about the city of Naples and , its beautiful and fascinating historic center.
