Vanwege bouwwerkzaamheden aan de Grütschalp-gondel van 13 april tot 10 juli 2026 wordt het reisschema van deze tour enigszins aangepast. De wandeling begint en eindigt in Mürren. Deze verandering heeft geen invloed op de algehele ervaring — gasten zullen nog steeds genieten van dezelfde adembenemende uitzichten en hoogtepunten van de regio. De tour blijft volledig begeleid en behoudt dezelfde kwaliteit en moeilijkheidsgraad als beschreven. Beleef een van de meest iconische en schilderachtige wandelingen in de Zwitserse Alpen tijdens deze prachtige wandeling van Grütschalp naar Mürren. Beginnend in het beroemde dorp Lauterbrunnen, maken we een korte gondeltocht de berghelling op en beginnen we onze wandeling langs een bergzichtpad met uitzicht op de vallei van 72 watervallen. Na Mürren keren we terug naar het dal en bezoeken we de indrukwekkende Trümmelbach-watervallen – een reeks krachtige gletsjerwatervallen verborgen in de berg.

Eerst brengen we u naar boven met de gondel, zodat u kunt genieten van de rit en uitzicht heeft over Lauterbrunnen. Hierna wandelen we van Grutschalp naar Murren. Deze route is geschikt voor een breed scala aan wandelaars. De eerste 30 minuten gaat het om een gestage maar matige klim; daarna egaliseert het pad en wordt het een gemakkelijke wandeling langs een breed, goed onderhouden pad. Je hebt genoeg tijd om van het uitzicht te genieten, foto's te maken en van je gids meer over de regio te leren.
Een van de mooiste en meest authentieke dorpen in de Alpen. Omgeven door bloemrijke weiden en torenhoge toppen voelt Mürren zich als een stap terug in de tijd.
De grootste ondergrondse watervallen van Europa, die tot 20.000 liter smeltwater per seconde vervoeren vanuit de gletsjers van de Eiger, Mönch en Jungfrau. De watervallen zijn toegankelijk via tunnelliften en loopbruggen, waardoor je een close-up krijgt van de ruwe kracht van de natuur terwijl deze zich een weg door de rots snijdt.
Adembenemende valleien in de Zwitserse Alpen, bekend om zijn dramatische klif en prachtige watervallen, waaronder de iconische Staubbach-watervallen. Omgeven door hoge bergtoppen en pittoreske dorpjes biedt het dal gemakkelijke toegang tot wereldberoemde bestemmingen als Mürren, Wengen en de Jungfrau-regio.

We loved every second of our tour! Zuzi, our tour guide was extremely friendly and down to earth. Our 5 hour excursion through Lauterbrunnen Valley was amazing. We got to see so much and learned so much about the valley. Too many parts that were our favorite to list but I’ll say that the picnic we had near one of the waterfalls was a cherry on top. Best day ever! Our tour guide, George, was professional, knowledgeable, and considerate of our preferences as my husband and I visited Lauterbrunnen and Murren and Trummelbach Waterfalls. He happily stopped for our many photo opportunities ( and there were SO MANY in this beautiful part of Switzerland) and was a wealth of information about Swiss culture, economy, agriculture, adventure sports, and lots of other things we had questions about. Hubby and I love to hike! Hiking in Switzerland was an absolute dream! Suzie, our amazing guide, picked us up at our hotel (awesome perk!) and we were off to see the beautiful countryside! We chose the most difficult hike and it was 100% worth it! We hiked above the clouds and saw views that were just breathtaking! Suzie was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and super friendly! Zuzi was an amazing guide! She took our small group on a great hike and took care of all our tickets for any transportation. She let us decide how easy or hard we wanted our hike so it was just right! We saw some beautiful places!

This trip was absolutely stunning. Our local guide was accommodating and full of knowledge about the area we were touring as well as the whole country. He was fascinating to listen to as we learned so much during our six plus hour tour. Our guide offered us trekking poles which we gladly used during the first part of the alpine hike. After the initial 45 minutes of the hike it flattened out and became very manageable without the trekking poles. George knew all the spots to show us the cows grazing in the mountain pastures, spotted BASE jumpers for us to watch and even pointed out a helicopter airlifting a cow down for veterinary treatment from the upper mountain to the lower valley. He was quite informative of the process by which the glacial melt cut through the mountain producing the distinctive milky green rivers flowing into the Interlaken lakes. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour and tour company. 5-Stars+ for our group!(swisslocalguide.ch)

Away from the crowds, up small trails known only by local guides, past the grazing cows, vast landscapes and waterfalls. Everything I had in my head about Switzerland played out in this hike all with a knowledgeable guide telling us about local customs, lifestyle, and history. If I only had one day in Switzerland, this would be the tour to take.
