Dit is geen rondleiding in een wildreservaat. In plaats daarvan gaan we naar een van een aantal gebieden waar je waarschijnlijk wilde kangoeroes en mogelijk wat inheemse Australische vogels ziet. Onze vriendelijke deskundige gidsen aka ‘onze kangoeroe fluisteraars’ zijn de beste die er zijn en zullen je naar de Blue Mountains of Outer Sydney of verder weg brengen waar we normaal gesproken veel kangoeroes zien, spelen, eten, slapen, enz. Op sommige tours hebben we op één dag meer dan 100 kangoeroes in het gebied gezien. Dit zijn wilde dieren in hun natuurlijke omgeving. Afhankelijk van de dag en hoe ze benaderd worden, kun je ze op de grond zien liggen, grazen, vechten, wegbinden, spelen en zich over het algemeen vermaken. Houd er rekening mee dat we u soms naar eigen goeddunken upgraden naar de Urban Kangaroos-tour zonder extra kosten. Op andere momenten nemen we je mee naar Wallabies (een kleinere soort kangoeroe).

• Ophalen van uw accommodatie in Sydney • Reis met uw privégids naar een buitenlocatie in Sydney of Blue Mountains waar u waarschijnlijk maar liefst 40 kangoeroes zult zien. Je gids zal enkele van de interessantere gedragingen van de kangoeroe toelichten. • Reis terug naar uw ophaallocatie of eventueel een andere stad, Noord-Sydney of Parramatta-locatie (vanuit Parramatta kunt u een boottocht maken over de rivier Parramatta - veerboottickets zijn niet inbegrepen). Inheemse vogels zullen vaak worden gezien (inclusief zwavel kuif kaketoes, kookaburras, rosellas, regenboog lori, eksters, enz.).

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Vertrektijd is afhankelijk van uw ophaallocatie en tijdstip van zonsondergang. Normaal gesproken zal het tussen 13:45 en 17:30 zijn, afhankelijk van zonsondergang en waar de kangoeroes waarschijnlijk te vinden zijn. EXACTE OPHAALTIJD ZAL WORDEN GEADVISEERD OP BEVESTIGING. HOUD ER OOK REKENING MEE DAT WE VOERTUIGEN KUNNEN GEBRUIKEN DIE ZIJN OPGEGEVEN VOOR HET AANTAL PASSAGIERS. Als u bijvoorbeeld met 4 passagiers bent, kunnen we 5-persoonsvoertuigen gebruiken. Als u extra ruimte nodig heeft, neem dan vooraf contact met ons op zodat wij u kunnen accommoderen. Neem je camera's mee. Het is een voordeel om gesloten schoenen en een lange broek te dragen.

Bruce surpassed our expectations! My Dad and I saw several groups of wild kangaroos during the tour, including some moms with joeys. The group sizes varied from being only the mother and joey with others in groups of 50 or more. Bruce is extremely knowledgeable about kangaroos. He was timely picking us up from our hotel in Sydney. It was wonderful watching kangaroos grazing and hopping around in the wild.

A major highlight of our time in Sydney! Although there are great zoos in Australia, my husband and I wanted to see animals in their natural habitat. The trip to the national park took about 90 minutes and was perfectly comfortable. Once there, we saw dozens of kangaroos including joeys. We were lucky to have the rare experiences of spotting a wallaby, witnessing a joey jump into its mother’s pouch, and seeing kangaroos mating — but this experience still would have been amazing even without seeing those rare sights! Bruce is super knowledgeable and taught us so much about kangaroos and their behavior. He’s also very friendly and was a pleasure to spend time with. If you’re hoping to see kangaroos outside of a zoo, definitely book this experience!

Short story: a better than anticipated, amazing life experience. Bruce is a knowledgeable, delightful tour guide just the perfect amount of friendly and accommodating, but clearly explained the boundaries and protocols for being around the wildlife. With a less skilled tour guide, the lengthy drive to and from downtown Sydney would have been possibly painful. Bruce has amazing stories and fantastic knowledge to prep us for what we were about to see as well as keeping us entertained on the ride back, when as out of country tourists, we were very tired. During the actual kangaroo sightings, he was patient and quietly explaining and pointing out details that we would definitely have overlooked. In summary, you are fortunate to have such a delightful customer facing employee in Bruce. We will be telling any and all of our friends who are heading this way to utilise you as a tour agency. Hopefully, we will be able to return, and will seek out your services and Bruce specifically.

Our Kangaroo expert Bruce picked us up at Hotel in Sydney, a well timed trip into the countryside near sunset to closely observe several large groups of kangaroos out on the open, a great experience not to be missed by anyone interested in Australian wildlife.

This was such a satisfying and fun tour in every way. We got to see lots of kangaroos much closer up than I ever imagined, including lots of joeys being their typical little amusing selves. It's so interesting to see how kangaroos use their strong tails, and so impressive to see the muscles on the males. I loved seeing them bounding across the road at one point. We learned a lot of surprising and strange things about them all, and it was wonderful to see them behaving in their natural way in the wild. Our guide Bruce was right on time and easy to talk with. I would definitely do another tour with him again next time we're in Sydney!

This is the best private tour I have ever taken. Bruce, our tour guide, was amazing. We saw tons of kangaroo everywhere! I can now consider myself a kangaroo expert after learning from the best. This was SUCH a great tour!! It was definitely a highlight during our stay in Australia. Bruce picked us up right on time at our hotel and taught us all sorts of things about kangaroos as we drove out of Sydney on our search for wild kangaroos. I was hoping we'd be lucky enough to see 2 or 3 kangaroos, but we must have spotted over 100 of them! Bruce was very knowledgable and friendly, walking with us and pointing out the Alpha males and females with their joeys until the day ended with a stunning sunset. I highly recommend Bruce and his Walking With Wild Kangaroos Tour if you'd like to encounter Australian wildlife in its natural habitat. We had a fantastic time!

Great experience seeing and getting close to the kangaroos Bruce possessed great knowledge of the animals in Australia and surrounding vegetation. Emotional intelligence of his passengers would provide for a better overall experience and the reason he was not rated a 5.
