Wandelen en zwemmen in het Nationaal Park Geres

Gerês Nationa Park ligt op anderhalf uur rijden van Porto en dit is wat je nodig hebt om in het hart van het park te zijn. Omdat we je niet willen irriteren met zoveel rijden, stoppen we halverwege om de benen te strekken en koffie te drinken (niet inbegrepen). Eenmaal in het Gerês National Park zullen we het park doorkruisen om de meest verbazingwekkende plekken te bezoeken, zoals de verbazingwekkende watervallen en uitzichtpunten vanuit dit prachtige park, of een stukje wandelen om ons in echt contact met de natuur te voelen en deze frisse lucht in te ademen;) Onderweg hebben we tijd om Gerês Village te bezoeken, bekend om het thermale water, voor een paar snacks (niet inbegrepen) en een beetje te ontspannen. Aankomst in Porto zal rond 18.30 uur zijn

The park is a lovely place and the pools were so nice for a swim! We unfortunately got caught in a thunderstorm so the second half was not as enjoyable, this was no fault of the company though! Our guide did occasionally go ahead though and losing sight of him while the terrain became harder to walk on was a bit worrying at times. But overall I would still recommend, there's lots of animals and stunning views which make the hike worth it!
Such a fun experience! Our guide and bus driver were both incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The trail and lagoons were gorgeous! Bring sunscreen and a snack!
Great to get away from cities and into nature for a day. We felt cared for and valued. The experience was special and unforgettable
We enjoyed the hike, the views and swimming in the lagoons. It’s a trip worth taking. Our guide was very friendly and very good at checking in on how we were doing and helpful in answering questions. But I wish we had received more information during the hike about the park, nature, and the changing environment, such as the impact of wildfires on the flora and fauna.
Many years ago I did not go to Gerês, I decided to take a walk there but with a guide, for the first time. Excellent walk!
Great tour guides – well organized and lots of fun! The only thing I missed was having fruits or easy grab-and-go snacks provided, especially during the walk to the lagoons. It’s quite a long hike, and a little something for the stop at the lagoons would make the experience even better. For the price, it would be nice to have a bit more included.
Really a direct excursion to the center of nature just spectacular! The experience guided by Eduardo was simply brutal! Her attitude, her commitment and her excellent attitude made me feel very comfortable, entertaining and happy. To be my first visit to Portugal I just have to say THANK YOU! It was spectacular! My friend and I recently participated in this tour, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had. Our guide, Angelo, was not only funny and kind but also a highly skilled driver—especially impressive on the curvy roads. With just four people in the group, the experience felt personal and thoughtfully tailored. I would absolutely recommend this tour to others. 10/10 would reccomend.
The landscapes of the place are beautiful and we were very well guided! The lagoons serve all sorts of people, from those here like deep wells, as well as those who like slimmer wells to bathe. The most impressive is the color of the water that is surreal!
Amazing hike and swimming- moderate level, bring plenty of water and lunch, as it’s provided. Eduardo is amazing great guy, and a pleasure to spend the day with.
