Wandelen door de stad Guayaquil
Beschrijving
Tijdens deze tour bezoeken we de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van Guayaquil tijdens een panoramische tour langs Seminario Park, de Malecón Simón Bolívar en de wijk Las Peñas, met indrukwekkende uitzichten vanaf Cerro Santa Ana. Je bezoekt ook het Guayaquil Historical Park, waar natuur en traditionele architectuur samenkomen.

Dit is een van de meest traditionele en oudste plekken in de stad, ook wel bekend als Simón Bolívar Park of Iguana Park, omdat een groot aantal van deze dieren in de bomen van deze plek leven. Hier ontmoeten we elkaar en beginnen onze tour met een rondleiding erdoor.
We gaan richting het Administratieplein, waar u het majestueuze gemeentegebouw met zijn neoklassieke architectuur kunt bewonderen, terwijl u geniet van het panoramische uitzicht dat de omgeving biedt. Het plein is een perfecte plek om foto's te maken en te genieten van de sfeer van de stad.
Onze volgende stop is de Malecón Simón Bolívar, gelegen langs de rivier de Guayas. Hier heeft u de gelegenheid om door de moderne faciliteiten te wandelen, te genieten van het uitzicht op de rivier en de recreatiegebieden te verkennen.
Traditionele wijk van Guayaquil, koloniale stijl, gelegen aan de voet van de Santa Ana-heuvel. We passeren er doorheen om naar Cerro Santa Ana te gaan.
Deze heuvel heeft een uitkijkpunt vanwaar je een spectaculair uitzicht hebt over de stad en de Guayas rivier. Op deze site zijn er onder meer ook kunstgalerijen, bars en restaurants. De verblijfsduur op deze plaats kan veranderen, afhankelijk van de tourcoördinatie en logistiek.
Ten slotte gaan we terug naar Seminario Park om onze tour af te ronden.
Vervolgens gaan we naar het La Rotonda Monument, een plek van grote historische waarde. Hier leert u meer over de bevrijders Simón Bolívar en José de San Martín en geniet u van een van de mooiste uitzichten over de stad.

Great tour. He was knowledgeable, warm,and knew all about the city. We had great fun. I would do it again.
Our guide was great and very knowledgeable. We received a great overview of the city! We even stopped for some local coffee and snacks on the tour!
Tour guide/driver showed up 1/2 hour late. Did a decent job with the tour but cut it short from the stated length of our tour.
Guayaquil is a beautiful city with a long past, you really can get to know these things when you have someone along that knows all of this. My guide not only knew so much of the history of the city and country as a whole but also tailor made the tour to my needs, special places that I would like to visit, my interest (like local food and customs) were incorporated into the experience. We loved this city, known as the 'pearl of the pacific', the largest city in Ecuador. The cobbled streets here are immaculately clean, no vandalism with lovely parks and plazas fringed with palms including an Iguana park. Everything about this city screams 'family and fun'. There are cable cars for pleasure and for ease of transportation for the locals, fair rides, stalls, markets, a plethora of good quality restaurants and everything is very reasonably priced. A lovely city divided into the new and old city which has lots of character. You can walk down the promenade and go on boat rides on the Guayas or just saunter around and take everything in your stride as the city feels very safe. There is a cathedral and light house with many steps leading to it if you want panoramic views of the city, but you can also get this from the boat rides also. Lovely city, highly recommended.
