Onze tours bieden een unieke ervaring en we doen ons best om dit een levenslange ervaring voor u te maken. Een walvisavontuur met vertrek vanuit de oude haven in het centrum van Reykjavik. We varen de Faxaflói baai in op zoek naar dwergvinvissen en bultruggen, dolfijnen en havenbruinvissen. Tijdens deze tour ervaart u ook het spectaculaire uitzicht op de bergen en eilanden rond Reykjavik, evenals het prachtige vogelleven. Aan boord hebben we warme overalls, verwarmde ruime binnenhutten, een leuke bar en gratis WiFi.

Uw avontuur begint bij Reykjavík's oude haven, waar u aan boord stapt van een van onze comfortabele walvisspottende boten. Terwijl u de Faxaflói-baai binnenvaart, geniet u van een panoramisch uitzicht op de skyline van de stad en de omliggende bergen terwijl de bemanning inzichten deelt over de zeedieren en de natuurlijke omgeving van IJsland.
Vaar door de rijke voedingsgebieden van Faxaflói Bay, waar bultruggen, dwergvinvissen, witsnaveldolfijnen en havenbruinvissen leven. Houd je camera klaar — waarnemingen zijn frequent, en je kunt zelfs papegaaiduikers (in de zomer) en speelse zeehonden spotten. Onze ervaren bemanning gebruikt hun lokale kennis om de beste uitkijkplekken te vinden en deelt fascinerende feiten over elke soort.
Als u vertrekt of terugkeert naar de haven, geniet u van uitzicht op Harpa, de iconische glazen concertzaal van Reykjavík. De glinsterende gevel reflecteert het licht van de baai, waardoor het een van de meest gefotografeerde bezienswaardigheden van IJsland is.
Bewonder op heldere dagen adembenemende uitzichten op de berg Esja die achter Reykjavík oprijst en, in de verte, het schiereiland Snæfellsnes — vaak “IJsland in miniatuur” genoemd vanwege zijn diverse landschappen en vulkanische toppen.
Na een paar uur op zee eindigt de tour terug bij de oude haven van Reykjavík. Warm op met een gratis overall en geniet van een warm drankje aan boord terwijl u nadenkt over uw onvergetelijke walvisobservatie-ervaring.

Such an amazing excursion to be out in the bay watching whales, dolphins and puffins, happily frolic and swim in their own environment. Our guide was so informative . Any wildlife and nature lover will remember this experience for a lifetime!
It was a fabulous excursion, with a very professional team. I loved it. To do it again without hesitation.
It is definitely worth it, but dress warmly. It is very cold on the open deck. The boat moves a lot, so if you get seasick, take Dramamine 30 minutes beforehand.
Great whale watching tour! We saw several whales and dolphins up close. The guide was knowledgeable and committed, the boat was comfortable and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!
We saw many humbacks and got a lot of information about the whales living around Iceland. The guide was very friendly.
Really well organised and great commentary. I would recommend dressing warmly but there is viewing inside which is great if it rains. It was amazing to see dolphins and humpback whales.
We had a great day! I was a bit nervous about whether we’d see any whales since they had seen them on the earlier outing. We were on the boat for about an hour when two were spotted. What a blast! They hung around our boat for a good 45 minutes. Those two whales put quite a show on! The crew was very good at giving us all the info on the whales, and what we could see. I definitely recommend this excursion.

Tour was informative and interesting, lead by marine biologist who provides the right balance of facts and spotting information to see and observe the whale, dolphin and bird behaviors in the wild Boat is spacious and clean with lots of seating and a warm cabin if the wind and rain picks up.

Staff was nice. Good length for trip- not too long. We barely saw anything however regarding whales or porpoises. That is just how it goes.

Great up close sightings of multiple Hump back Whales. Comfortable boat with good facilities. The whole family enjoyed the trip. The weather was amazing too. Actually got a tan.
