Dit jaar zijn Orka’s en Bultruggen gearriveerd in Skjervøy, vier uur rijden van Tromsø! We halen je om 05:20 uur op in de rode bus die ACHTER het gebouw van Magic Ice Bar Tromsø (begane grond) staat, rijden je naar Skjervøy, geven je warme drijfpakken en nemen je mee op een once in a life time walvissen kijken ervaring per RIB-boot! We geven je dan broodjes, thee en koffie, en beginnen aan de panoramische rit (terug in Tromsø 17:30).

The orca tour in Tromsø was an unforgettable and very exciting experience. Even though the weather didn’t go too far, the thrill of seeing whales and, above all, orcas in their natural habitat more than compensated. It was a really special moment that we loved. The organization of the event was generally fine, although there are some aspects that could be improved. The place where you change could be more hygienic and caring, as it is an important part of the experience, especially because of the cold. In addition, the food they offer could be of better quality: good snacks would make a difference, and it would also be appreciated if they included coffee or hot chocolate. Overall, it is a highly recommended excursion for the unique experience of seeing these animals so impressive, although with small details to improve could be even better.
Fantastic and well organised experience! The coach journey is quite long but expected for the trip location. Managed to sleep the majority of the way. The RIB boat was very cool and didn’t feel cold thanks to all the equipment provided by the company
My group and I arrived at the meeting point indicated on the platform at the set time, being there we did not see any bus , we contacted the teleoperator and no one attended us , despite being at the indicated point the bus left without us at 5:30 , which caused us a great inconvenience, we were with 3 young children , the normal is that he would have answered us and informed us that a street further back was where the bus was located, (I have done many excursions and the manager calls you by wasa and is responsible for you reaching the excursion ) tell us that we do not pay the money , which was 1700 € and also do not give us another date of excursion , now reading I see that I am not the first to which it happened.
These are the instructions both on the product description and on the confirmation email that we send one day before departure: “The departure time is 05:30 am for whale watching tomorrow. Please meet up latest 05:20 am. Please go directly on board the red bus from Bussring/Arctic Route which will be standing BEHIND the building of Magic Ice Bar Tromsø (ground floor)." Adresse: Samuel Arnesens gate 5, 9008 Tromsø» If some guest cannot understand or follow these instructions, then this guest will be a NoShow with no right to reschedule or refund just like by any plane, train, or bus ticket.
Super organization everything is very well calculated to make the most of the water to observe orcas.
Perfect, we have seen killer whales (including babies) several times. The weather was clear so we could enjoy it. The guide and the skipper was good. The meal was good too.
Avoid this company. Bad experience. Arrived on time and I could not find the pick up location. The tour left without me and made no attempt to contact me. I could only find an email to try to reach them. Very rude/disrespectful communications from staff afterwards when requesting a refund. No refund was given.
You were a NoShow with no right to reschedule or refund as clearly stated in our terms and conditions. You were given exactly the same information and instructions about the meeting point as everyone else. Everyone else was in the bus on time just like they do every single day with exactly the same instructions. The fact that you did not understand or follow the information and instructions is not a reason for a refund just like when you miss a plane or a train. You can ask your travel insurance for compensation.
Booking confirmation from the company was difficult to get. The starting place for the bus ride changed twice the day before. Instead of writing Tomsø bus terminal pier 2, they wrote something about a place BEHIND a building, and the address- unclear!
This was one of my favorite tours. It was cold, very cold out on the water. Lots of layers needed. The tour guides were excellent and were so respectful of the whales. Lots of interesting information provided and we were looked after. Highly recommend.
A wonderful experience that I would repeat immediately. The species you see change depending on the period. Even just the boat trip is very exciting and fun.
Amazing experience! We saw 2 male Orcas and then got to witness the main pod of females and babies feeding on herring. It was so special. 4 hour bus ride to the island and about 4 hours spent there. Suits and boots were provided but I'd heavily reccomend wearing mamy layers of warm clothes. It's windy and you will get splashed. Bring backup cloths for the bus ride home.
