Pedro was truly knowledgeable of the specifics of Roman History. He gave very clear explanations and was really chill throughout. Highly recommend.

Pedro is the best. He’s funny, detailed, and makes you feel like you are touring Rome with a long time friend. Be ready for a very informative tour, where he doesn’t try to sell you anything extra, but gives you a great view of the city. We booked two tours with Pedro, and I almost booked a third as well. Our family of five walked with him, and he kept us all interested and laughing. Oh, and he gives you great restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend Pedro.

I really enjoyed the tour with Pedro. He showed us places that I didn't know yet, even though I had already been to Rome several times. Pedro conveyed the information in such a way that it was fun to listen to him. Time passed quickly. I recommend that everyone take a tour with him if they want to get to know Rome (better)!

The highlight of my first trip to Rome was my walking tour of Trastevere with Pedro. His background in archaeology and Roman history is excellent. He was able to answer any question I had. He was prepared with historical pictures of the sights toured to show change over time which were very interesting to see. He was happy to provide me with additional recommendations for my time in Rome based on my interests. I was also impressed with Pedro’s ability to handle the logistics of tours. Even though the other people who scheduled a tour during my time slot cancelled and I was the only one left, Pedro contacted me to ask if I still wanted to take the tour. I am very thankful he did not cancel as most group tours cancel if there is not the required amount of people. Also, Rome is very warm in the summertime and he made sure to incorporate breaks during the tour for water or drinks and rest if necessary. He is passionate about living in Rome and sharing his knowledge about Rome’s history. He is a very valuable resource, reliable and an overall fantastic tour guide. Myself and my three children visited Rome for the first time in December 2025, and this tour with Pedro was the absolute highlight of our trip. Pedro was an outstanding guide. His storytelling brought the ancient buildings and ruins to life. He was exceptionally prepared with pictures, fascinating facts, and captivating stories. He made history engaging, vivid and easy to imagine, helping us see these incredible sites as they once were, bustling with life and activity. The tour was absolutely incredible from start to finish. My children were fascinated, which is no small feat when you are touring with two teenagers and a pre-teen! We all left with a much deeper appreciation for Rome’s history and culture. Pedro is a Brazilian guide in Rome. Graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in museology and specialized in archaeology and Roman history. Able to explain the past rigorously without turning the visit into a heavy lesson. On the contrary, his timely humor makes the group smile without taking away the importance of the place.
