Je komt vaak in Salerno op doorreis omdat het een strategisch punt is voor een bezoek aan de Amalfikust, Pompeii, Paestum enz. Maar Salerno is een stad rijk aan geschiedenis, kunst en tradities... dus wat is een betere gelegenheid om een rondleiding te krijgen van een Salernovrouw? Ik laat je de meest toeristische plekken van de stad zien, maar ook de minder bekende die je alleen met een local kunt ontdekken! Deze wandeling is gemakkelijk en leuk. We beginnen bij de oorsprong van de stad, gaan door het historische centrum waar nog sporen van de middeleeuwen te zien zijn, naar het moderne gedeelte en eindigen precies op de plek waar we begonnen.

Alessia was a great tour guide. We learned so much about Salerno that we would have not known without her knowledge. The church was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. 100% recommended if you are in Salerno.
Alessia was a true joy to have as an expert in local Salerno history. She was also very personable and made a great connection with our group who included family and 2 others from our cruise ship.

An amazing experience from a local history major. So worth exploring the old town into the new and finding hidden history. Our guide, Alessia, was very well spoken. She loved questions both current and historical. Everyone seemed to enjoy her tour. Just a wonderful way to spend a few hours getting insider tips on Salerno. Highly recommend this walking tour. Note, a few steps up into a church but otherwise the typical incline of streets. Beware of local drivers, they seem out to take out pedestrians.

This was a fantiastic introduction to Salerno! Not all tourist sites recommend visiting Salerno, and after this tour, I think skipping it is a mistake. Alessia is an energetic, engaging, informative, and knowledgeable guide who really brought Salerno to life for me. She spent more time with us than was promised, sharing info about history, architecture, and religion. At the end of the tour, she helped the group find restaurants and other sites of interest. I highly recommend this tour!
So much fun visiting Salerno and Alesia, our guide communicated with me immediately upon receiving my reservation. She was fantastic!
