Ho Thi Ky, gelegen aan een straat met dezelfde naam, is de grootste bloemenmarkt in Ho Chi Minh-stad en levert bloemen aan de stad en enkele provincies in het zuiden van Vietnam. Opgericht in de jaren 1980, is dit een zeldzame plek die het kenmerk van het oude Saigon behoudt. De markt is de hele dag open, maar het drukst is 's morgens vroeg en' s avonds (avondmarkt van Ho Thi Ky). De bloemen komen hier voornamelijk uit Dalat, Mekong Delta en andere landen zoals Hongarije en Nederland.
Saigon is de meest dynamische en bruisende stad van Vietnam. De stad verbergt echter in de loop van de tijd nog steeds oude en rustieke waarden, en een van de meest opvallende voorbeelden zijn de Nguyen Thien Thuat-appartementengebouwen in District 3. De gebouwen huisvestten eerst Amerikaanse soldaten, maar werden na Onafhankelijkheidsdag gebruikt voor Vietnamese inwoners. Deze woonwijk telt 11 gebouwen en rond 1968 zijn ongeveer 120 huishoudens gevormd. Omdat het appartement al bijna een halve eeuw bestaat, zijn de bewoners hier dus nauw met elkaar verbonden van oorlogstijd tot vredestijd. Dwalend door de oude flatgebouwen, kon je de mooie en close beelden zien van de buren die voor het balkon, op de bank praten, of de kinderen die rondrenden in de gangen.

We had a great time! Tons of food, and a lot of info. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and taken to a few different districts to sample all this food. The motorbike option was a lot of fun, and Saigon is just fantastic at night—cooler temps, bustling, alive, vibrant. Such a fun tour and great city. Our tour guides were Tris and Kiran and they were wonderful. Come hungry—we were pretty hungry but basically fell into a food coma when we got back to the hotel.
Very good value - so much food! Harry was a great guide, had so much information and was very friendly. Lots of walking, visiting areas you wouldn't find yourself.
A fabulous night trying an amazing range of dishes in a local area away from tourists. Canon was an awesome guide - lots of energy and shared lots of information and stories. Highly recommended - just skip breakfast and lunch beforehand!
The food tour was amazing with Tri, my tour guide! We explored the city for 3h30 and eat about 20 plates, desserts and beverages. Tri was really nice and explained every dish and shared about Vietnam's history and culture. I was alone with Tri and he adapted to avoid food I didn't like. Great tour but don't eat anything on the day because you'll need the stomach's space!

It was an extremely delicious and very informative tour with our lovely tour guide Mya. She was very accommodative to our dietary restrictions and helped us get a real taste of Saigon. The food course was well thought out and Mya explained the origins of each and every food we had. Overall my Mum and I had a wonderful time eating our way through delicious Vietnamese food.
