Viator and TripAdvisor are part of the same company, and we fully support bookings made through both platforms. Because of that, it would not be possible for us to charge an additional fee because a reservation was made through Viator rather than TripAdvisor. The additional amount discussed was the fuel surcharge, which is disclosed in the tour listing and also included in the confirmation email sent prior to the tour. This is a standard charge that guests are informed about before arrival. We understand that unexpected costs can be frustrating, and we're sorry that there was a misunderstanding regarding this fee. However, it was not related to the booking platform and was not a charge added at the last minute. Regarding your refund request, any requests submitted through Viator are handled through their review process, and we will continue to cooperate with them as needed.
