They provide cool drinking water and make the trip absolutely enjoyable! Experienced in island history.
We had 2 captains today Ian and Jim. They were very nice and made the ride fun. Especially Ian’s jokes. Thank you for a great ride

It was amazing they let me feed the fish and we saw dolphins
Mahalo for your fantastic review! We're so glad you had an unforgettable time on our **Waikīkī glass bottom boat tour**. Seeing dolphins in the wild is always a special experience, and we're happy you enjoyed feeding the fish too! Thank you for choosing Hawaii Glass Bottom Boats to be part of your Hawaiʻi adventure. We look forward to welcoming you back aboard for another memorable trip. Aloha!
We were excited to go out on a glass bottom boat so we may see the sea creatures in the ocean. What we got was a boat no glass bottom there was a 2ft W X 4ft L rectangular box that you had to climb down a ladder to see anything; but the glass had a huge crack in it. So, what you actually got was an ordinary boat which had NO glass bottom. What we got was a guy saying what motels/hotels were the best and some history. While we were out he hit a turtle with his boat cracking it's shell. Then he passed it off and stated oh over to our right we have two turtles. That was the extent of out 45 minutes out on the water. Very boring, didn't see anything, but 2 turtles. He stated there was a ship wreckage, dolphins, turtles, many different types of sea creatures and all we saw was 2 turtles. Boring and not worth what we paid.
Mahalo for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Our vessel is a glass-bottom boat, featuring a dedicated underwater viewing box designed to provide a close-up view of the reef below while maintaining the safety and stability of the vessel. We understand that some guests expect the entire floor of the boat to be made of glass, and we're sorry if that expectation wasn't clear before your tour. We also take your concern regarding the sea turtle very seriously. The safety and protection of marine life are fundamental to our operation, and our captains are trained to operate responsibly around wildlife. We would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your experience and review the details of your concerns. Wildlife sightings are always unpredictable, and while we often encounter turtles, tropical fish, dolphins, and other marine life, we can never guarantee what nature will provide on any given day. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve both our guest communication and the overall experience we provide. If you're willing, we'd welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly. You get the impression from the advertising that you’ll be having a unique and mesmerising experience seeing all sorts of marine life through a special glass floor, however it’s anything but that. The glass panels may as well not have been there. The panels are quite small. I saw a few basic fish and that’s it. They take you out to a seawreck which is just a few rusty panels. At no point did I go wow. It’s basically just a boat ride out in front of the main Waikīkī strip then back. The guides were lovely though. The wait spot is hot and there’s little shade.
nice experience, a bit on the expensive side but its a great way to see the sea life
Super excited to take this glass bottom tour to see turtles n ocean life… well we did get to see fish n alligator fish but no turtles or dolphins I figured it was because it was the middle of the day n the best time prob in the morning lol but The boats glass bottom is def not what u think it’s 4 square boxes u have to look into that go down about 6ft n no you can’t climb in there to see better. Didn’t see anything thru these boxes just seen fish off the side of the boat after they thru chum.
Jim the captain is a genuine person and easy to talk to. He knows the best places to look for sea life but no guarantees.
Absolutely brilliant time, the guides were humorous and informative. Didn’t see much on the way out, other than one turtle bobbing about, but with the ocean, view and music it was so so chill. Then just as we were on our way back we struck gold and saw a large pod of dolphins dancing swimming out. It was so spectacular. I’d also like to mention that there was a hiccup with my transport taking me to the wrong port and therefore missing my orginal time slot. Everyone at the company was so lovely and happy to amend my booking without any hassle. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience!
My daughter and I booked this tour in July. We were expecting a boat with a large glass bottom, which is not what we got. The boat has 4 portions that are glass, and you look down through a viewing area. Most of the enjoyment of this tour came not with the glass bottom itself (through which we really didn't see much), but with the scenery and the tour guides. Our guides were funny and knowledgeable and made the whole trip fun. Our tour took along the beach, giving great views of Waikiki, Honolulu, and Diamond Head. Along the way we did see a turtle and several schools of fish. Overall, it was a really nice way to spend an hour or two. Note: there is no bathroom at the dock- plan ahead. There is a toilet on the boat, but it seemed a bit awkward.
