Om 8.30 uur in de rij staan om de Fullers 0900 ferry naar Waiheke te halen, KIJK UIT naar je naam op het zwarte welkomstbord, of wacht bij de I-Site informatiestand in de ferry terminal om 1000 uur. U kunt het beste gebruik maken van de toiletten van de veerboten, omdat de terminals vaak lange wachtrijen hebben. We beginnen dan aan een schilderachtige tour langs enkele van de prachtige bezienswaardigheden volledig becommentarieerd, voordat we 3 van Waiheke's mooiste boutique wijngaarden bezoeken. Wij raden u aan om uw eigen lunch reservering te boeken tijdens de drukke zomermaanden. Mudbrick Archive 14.00 uur of Oyster Pension, Fenice of Vino Vino 14.15 uur. Of u kunt gewoon kiezen voor een van de vele lokale cafés en eetgelegenheden in het zee dorp Oneroa. Transfers voorzien terug de veerboot terminal om 15.45 uur, of u kunt ervoor kiezen om te blijven op en genieten van meer tijd op het eiland en maak uw eigen weg terug naar de veerboot.

Vang de 0915 eiland directe veerboot boekbaar of de fullers 0900 walk up ferry, kijk voor uw naam op het zwarte bord van de gidsen of wacht bij het informatiecentrum in de terminal. It was a beautiful day on Waiheke Island. I was part of a small group (four people), and I enjoyed their company. The wine at the three wineries we visited was great.
Honestly, made friend, saw incredible views, wine was great, just book it.
Terrific wine tour highlighted by experienced local guide Glenn, who has a deep knowledge of the island’s wine history and landscape and a great sense of humour. Three premium wine tastings at some great cellar doors with mix of wines, styles and winery size. Each of them had engaging and knowledgeable staff who helped make the tasting. Glenn really made the logistics super easy with pick-up straight off the ferry, assistance with organising lunch of your choice and also a pick-up service to take you back to the ferry afterwards. I would highly recommend lunch at Mudbrick. Great food and service in a stunning setting. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great experience / day of relaxed premium wine tasting and food, with some witty banter, fun and great wine insights attached.

We had a fabulous day with Glenn - he was knowledgeable about the island and also had a great sense of humour - we missed our morning ferry resulting in us being late but he reorganised the day and made sure we didn’t miss anything we had planned - highly recommend for a great day out on waiheke island
And what a great bunch , who came all the way from that other Island, just to do my tours !!!!
Glenn was our driver and guide and he was absolutely fantastic. Took us on a drive around the island and showed us some great views and provided some info about the island. The weather was amazing and he took us to 3 wineries. We ended up staying for lunch at the last winery and the food was great! He got us back to the terminal timely and it was the perfect little day trip. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience all round. Glen was a super knowledgeable and hilarious host - missed his calling as a standup comedian - and the wineries and lunch were fantastic. Casita Miro and Waiheke Whisky are well worth a visit. Highly recommended, and we would do it again.

The tour will take you to the most interesting parts of Waiheke island - with a mix of history, sightseeing, property spotting - and some great wine tasting. Really enjoyable, engaging and well organised; touring in a small group is highly recommended here. For the wine tasting, we went to Casita Miro (best wines, in my view), the Batch (some really good wines and some average ones, great garden and overall experience though), and finally Mudbrick (the place is beautiful, but here - I found the wines and food a bit underwhelming). Important: You will need to get to the island by ferry, and it is advisable to book the ferry tickets in advance. There are multiple operators departing from Auckland Downtown ferry terminal, make sure you read the tour details once you book.
Had a great wine tasting with Sue as our guide. We went to four wineries and enjoyed all the samplings Great views of the island were included.
