Ontdek het dramatische landschap en de natuurlijke rotsformaties van het beschermde gebied Wadi Rum! Deze 4x4-tour neemt je mee door de hoofdvallei van het beschermde gebied van Wadi Rum en stopt bij de belangrijke bezienswaardigheden en panoramische uitkijkpunten. Je hebt bij elke stop de tijd om te voet te verkennen, de rotsen op te klauteren, naar uitkijkpunten te lopen en foto's te maken. Enkele hoogtepunten van de tour zijn onder meer een bezoek aan de Khazali Canyon om oude rotstekeningen en inscripties te zien, en een zelfgeleide wandeling van 20-30 minuten door de Abu Khashaba Canyon. Je krijgt ook bezienswaardigheden van de woestijn te zien, zoals Ain Abu Aineh (Lawrence Spring), de Red Sand Dune, Little Rock Bridge en Um Fruth Rock Bridge.

Bewonder het adembenemende landschap van het beschermde gebied Wadi Rum, een UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie, met rode zandvalleien, canyons en dramatische rotsformaties. Terwijl je vertrekt vanuit Wadi Rum Rest House, krijg je een eerste blik op het uitgestrekte landschap van Wadi Rum. De eerste stop is Ain Abu Aineh (Lawrence Spring), waar u een korte wandeling kunt maken naar de natuurlijke bron (optioneel) en oude rotstekeningen en inscripties kunt zien op een nabijgelegen rots. De volgende stop is de Rode Zandduin, waar je naar de top kunt klimmen voor een spectaculair uitzicht (optioneel). Je bezoekt Khazali Canyon, een smalle kloof die beroemd is om zijn oude rotstekeningen en inscripties. De volgende stop is de Little Rock Bridge, een dramatische rotsformatie met een fantastisch uitzicht op de vallei. Aangekomen bij de Abu Khashaba Canyon kun je een prachtige, zelfgeleide wandeling door de kloof maken, en je gids zal je aan de andere kant ontmoeten (optioneel). De laatste stop is de Um Fruth Rock Bridge, die 15 meter boven de vallei uitsteekt.

Ali was our guide for the half day desert tour and it was truly incredible! Such a great guide with good knowledge and a calm friendly vibe. He even took us to meet his family deep in the desert for Arabic coffee. Highly recommend this tour. Very professional and we loved every minute of it.

Essential and very cool activity in the Wadi Rum desert. We traveled as 2 families with a total of 4 adults and 3 children. Regarding the activity: it was punctual, drivers were professional, respectful, and attentive to the group at all times. Flexibility at every stop. They give you water and tea at all times. Our wonderful experience we chose to watch the sunset in the Wadi Rum desert and a show between nature, colors and perfect weather, our guide Khaled Salem Al Zalabieh super attentive prepared us an amazing tea. They were 2 families with children aged 4-5 and loved it. Really recommended 100% the kids enjoyed it.

Having a nice tea and conversation with Khaled and learning about his life and the area. Then hiked up to Lawrence spring, then we rode camels to the sand dunes and explored caves, really amazing trip filled with the best scenery!
