Vrouwen in Wijn De Montréal Wijnbar Wandeltocht

Beschrijving

What a great tour - perfect way to wander around Montreal. Not only tasting some delicious wines and some tasty bites to eat, but bonus mural and cool buildings on our walk. Our guide Fred was amazing with great stories about the wine and people involved and where we were in Montreal. Made everyone feel welcome and taken care of.
It was an afternoon wander through Le Plateau tasting lesser known, but intriguing delicious wines: whites, roses, and a red. Led by a native Montrealer, Fred, the history of the wine industry in the city and, how today, women are instrumental in the burgeoning business of natural wines was discussed. It is a tour worth taking.
This tour was so much fun! It was also educational, even for someone who's been living in Montreal almost her entire life. It was perfect to meet interesting people from different cities and get to chat with new people. Danny and Fred were super friendly, patient and knowledgeable about their wines and the history of the city. The wines were delicious and varied, and we got little bites to eat at every stop. I definitely recommend it! It's totally worth it.
Excellent guided tour given in English by Frédérique. The choice of wine was well-suited for a beautiful summer day and the snacks were delicious. The places visited showcased a lovely variety. Fred is a friendly guide who knows her subject well, an excellent ambassador for Montreal to tourists. I truly recommend this activity.
I am a Montrealer and i found dhis tour so fun! I have learn new things about my city and you learn great stuff about the wine and women scene in Montreal. Frédérique, the guide, is so friendly and welcoming. Really, this tour is a must.
Fred, our tour guide was amazing very personable. Had a host of information to share with about the to. Really enjoyed that at each stop there were hors d’oeuvres to served with the group along with the wine tastings 10 out of 10.
I had such a great time on the wine tour. It was a beautiful day, and I got to meet a lot of wonderful people. There were about 10 of us, which made it easy to have great conversations What I really enjoyed was how the tour was structured. We started with stories, a snack, and some interesting discussions, then visited four different locations. Even though I'm from Montreal, I learned about fascinating projects happening in the city that I had never heard of before. Along the way, we also learned about the city's history, art, and origins, which added so much to the experience After the roughly 3-hourish tour, we actually decided to stay at the last location and enjoy some more of their wine and food, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed it. I also came away with a new appreciation for details around the city that I never noticed before. There are a few things I was tempted to share in this review, but I won't spill the beans. You'll have to discover them for yourself if you take the tour! I would absolutely recommend this tour. The price was well worth it for everything you get. It was delicious, entertaining, and full of interesting people. It's definitely going to be one of my favourite experiences of the summer. Our host was great, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely enthusiastic. I was surprised to learn she hadn't been doing this for very long because she seemed like someone with years of experience. She really made an already great experience even better.
We're love this new tour. Such a cool way for locals and visitors to bond over inspiring stories, tasty fresh wines while hopping around to gorgeous buvettes around town. The stops in the hoods in between bars are just as important and we're REALLY happy about the food bites too. It means a lot to us you chose the only locally owned food and wine tour company hiring licensed guides and are proud to share portion each ticket sale goes to a women's shelter. MERCI!
Seeing my city and a neighborhood I thought I knew like the back of my hand, through a "tourist's" perspective is incredibly refreshing for the mind. I loved it! It allowed me not only to visit my city but also to make wonderful encounters. I would do it again!
Wooooow!!! I had no idea being a tourist in my own city would be so much fun, I absolutely 💯 recommend! Frederick and Danny were the most professional and gracious hosts. The destinations were all lovely and diverse and the approach and communication with the wine was just perfectly universal for all levels of wine lovers, do not hesitate to book!!!
Love that the tour supports all local businesses and shares stories of the women's products, establishments, importation companies and overall impact on the way we drink wine here. Thanks for mentioning it's not a snobby wine tasting experience; it's about the stories, the cool places, the bites and walks along the way!
I had a fantastic time on this walking tour! The group size was perfect, small enough to feel personal, but not so tiny that it felt awkward. The walking distances between stops were short and felt effortless because the guides kept us completely engaged, chatting with us the whole way. I absolutely loved that they highlighted women in the wine industry, such a fantastic and important touch! The guides themselves were incredibly sweet and welcoming. The bars they took us to were super cool and not overcrowded, which really let us soak in the atmosphere. Plus, the service at every single stop was amazing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!
We're so lucky to have talented and licensed guides. The bars and beverages we showcase are great and even better when you hear their stories :) The wines are fresh and funky and the walks in between educational with a few good laughs too! Thanks for sharing, it means a lot being the small independent company we are!
