Uw persoonlijke Gids ontmoet u in de haven van Kusadasi, begeleidt u naar de verschillende bezienswaardigheden, waaronder de oude stad Efeze, de Terrashuizen en het Huis van de Maagd Maria. In Efeze ziet u de indrukwekkende ruïnes van de oude stad, waaronder de Celsusbibliotheek, het Grote Theater en de Tempel van Hadrianus. Ten slotte het Huis van de Maagd Maria, door velen geloofd als de laatste rustplaats van Maria. Efeze, was de tweede grootste stad in het Romeinse rijk met meer dan 250.000 mensen in de 1e v.Chr. Alleen gerangschikt na Rome was het de op een na grootste stad ter wereld. Efeze was ook een havenstad. En deze gigantische stad werd alleen gebouwd met marmer. Wist je dat Efeze een grootste amfitheater in de antieke wereld had met meer dan 25.000 zitplaatsen? Zie ook Godin Nike, plaatselijke apotheek, Hadrian Gate, Library of Celcius (de derde grootste bibliotheek), Marbel Street en Harbor Street.
Geniet van een traditionele lunch in een plaatselijk tapijtweverijdorp, waar u ook de gelegenheid heeft om getuige te zijn van bekwame ambachtslieden die authentieke Turkse tapijten met de hand maken.
Tempel van Artemis of Artemision, ook bekend als de Tempel van Diana, was een Griekse tempel gewijd aan de godin Artemis. Het bevond zich in Efeze en was een van de zeven wereldwonderen.
Het Huis van de Maagd Maria is een plek waar volgens de opvattingen van veel mensen Maria, de moeder van Jezus, haar laatste jaren van haar leven doorbracht. Ze moest samen met St. John in Efeze aankomen en woonde daar in de jaren 37-45 CE tot haar Assumptie of Dormition.

Cem was an amazing guide. He was so knowledgeable kind and accommodating to our family. He told us lots about the history and culture of all of turkey and went into depth about the sites that we went to. We had an incredible experience with Taylan. My partner and I were the only two on the tour and it felt customized just for us. Pick up spot was easy to find and he communicated easily through WhatsApp. We started the tour at Ephesus and Taylan was very knowledgeable and patient as we took pictures and explored. We then had an enjoyable lunch with traditional Turkish food. We had an opportunity to learn about Turkish rugs and even bought our first Turkish rugs! We got to see some exceptional pottery and how it is made. We made a quick spot to purchase the pomegranate syrup we had for lunch to take home. The driver was ready for us at each spot with a comfortable air conditioned vehicle. I would highly recommend and request Taylan if he is available!

Adam was our guide and showed us around Ephesus, and then took us to all his favorite Turkish food places. We especially enjoyed pistachio ice cream and baklava. We also learned a lot about Turkish culture.

Adam was very knowledgeable. It was an interesting day, we were also taken to a carpet making shop and a leather goods store. No one forced us to buy and it was interesting to learn about the processes. The car was very clean and cool, which was needed on such a hot day.
