Volubilis is een van de belangrijkste stops tijdens onze dagtocht, waar we met een gids de Romeinse ruïnes zullen verkennen die u zullen fascineren met de cultuur en geschiedenis.

De tour begint met een rondleiding langs de muren met monumentale poorten die dateren uit de zeventiende-eeuwse Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis. Ga verder met het verkennen van de stad bij de stallen (Rua), zolders (HERI) en Stud. Stop bij het Mausoleum van Moulay Ismail, de enige moskee die niet-moslims lange tijd in Marokko konden bezoeken. Stap uit via de beroemde Bab Mansour El op het uitgestrekte plein Hedim. Aan de andere kant van het plein biedt het Museum van Marokkaanse Kunst "Dar Jamai" een grote verscheidenheid aan handwerk die u kunt zien
Het museum maakt deel uit van het bezoek, om meer te weten te komen over de cultuur van Meknes.

We had a very good day with Dris, our guide, a very friendly and attentive person who shared his knowledge with us; he is a professional 👍 Dris did everything to ensure we were comfortable and was always attentive. We are very happy with the tour operator and a big thank you to Dris 👍👍😀
This trip was wonderful value for your money, we had plenty of time in Volubilis as well as Meknes. Our driver and tour guide Omar and Hassan were very friendly and pleasant to talk to. We would definitely recommend to others.

Although the driver drove well, was informative and spoke great English, I have to give this tour a 2 star rating for the following reasons: 1. The tour includes stops to Moulay Idriss and Dar Jamai Museum however, we were never taken there. The driver pointed to Moulay Idriss from a highway and we never stopped. 2. In Meknes, the guide never took us to Dar Jami Museum. When we asked he said we should have asked at the beginning of the tour since the Museum was closing in 15 minutes. However this was supposed to be part of the tour experience that we paid for despite having to pay an entrance fee. 3. In addition, the tour guide was really sweet and did the absolute best; however, his English could not be understood well, and we all really struggled to understand him. He kept apologizing. I believe he said he spoke better French than English; however we were an English speaking tour group. He did a great job getting us through the Medina and speaking his little heart out but we missed a lot of the message due to his difficulty in speaking. The positives are the driver and the tour guide were quite pleasant, Volubilis was breath taking and Meknes was a nice laid back experience compared to Fes and Marrakech.

We would like to gently clarify that Moulay Idriss is scheduled as a panoramic view stop from the road, as non-Muslim visitors are not permitted deep into the holy city. Additionally, monument visits in Mekneslike the museum are optional selfguided stops with fees paid on-site, though we apologize for any miscommunication regarding the timing. My family and I took two tours; on the first, we visited Volubilis and Meknes, and on the second, the Middle Atlas. Our driver, Muha Buzega, was kind and attentive... he sent a young man ahead to the riad to help us exit the medina and carry our backpacks. The trips were comfortable, and he made an effort to find us guides before we arrived at the sightseeing locations. He arranged for us to have water and cookies for my daughter's snack, and at the recommended restaurants, we ate very well! I absolutely recommend it for a relaxed and safe trip!

Our driver was excellent. Very good conversation and informative. The guide at Volubilis was good the restaurant specialty Berbier pizza was very good. Our guide through the medina was difficult to hear but the sites were wonderful.

These three sites, especially Volubilis and Meknes are must sees for any trip to Morocco. The Roman ruins at Volubilis were expansive and well excavated. It would have been helpful to have a brochure so we could identify the different sites as we walked, but they do have local guides. The guide in Meknes was absolutely superb. Fluent in both French and English, he described the history of the city and the importance of each site we visited. There was also a Spanish translator for the Spanish speakers. Lunch at a local restaurant in Meknes was terrific. All in all, a fabulous experience. It is important to note that there is a lot of walking on this tour, so those who can't manage 3 hours plus a gentle climb at the ruins may have difficulty.

The driver was very nice and friendly. On the other hand the visit of Meknes was absolutely null because the guide dragged his feet and did not offer any interesting visit. Information or repetition should be requested as it does not speak to its audience. Please find motivation when we come to discover your country the desire is there, do not kill it!

The trip was good, and the driver was efficient and good. I felt the time given in Volubilis was too short and would like to have more time there than inMenke's Medina or at lunch. The restaurant chosen by the tour company was OK, nothing special. The tour in the Medina was fine, the guide was very good and did not take us to any tourist trap.
