In het Pearl Harbor Visitor Center kunt u verschillende tentoonstellingen bekijken die historische context bieden over de gebeurtenissen die leidden tot de aanval op Pearl Harbor op 7 december 1941. Bekijk een documentaire van 23 minuten die een overzicht biedt van de aanval, de impact ervan en de betekenis van het USS Arizona Memorial Na de inleidende tentoonstellingen en film stapt u aan boord van een door de Amerikaanse marine bediende boot voor een korte rit naar het USS Arizona Memorial. De 10 minuten durende tocht over de haven is rustig en biedt uitzicht op de omliggende militaire installaties Toegangskaarten voor de attracties op uw tour zijn inbegrepen en worden op de dag van uw tour door uw gids verstrekt
Het USS Arizona Memorial is een wit, openluchtgebouw dat de resten van het gezonken slagschip overspant. Het is een plechtige en rustige plek, ontworpen om bezoekers te laten nadenken over de offers die de matrozen en mariniers brachten die tijdens de aanval omkwamen Het wrak bekijken: Binnen in het monument kunt u in het water kijken om delen van het gezonken slagschip te zien. De omtrek van het schip is net onder het oppervlak zichtbaar en oliedruppels, vaak aangeduid als "The Tears of the Arizona", zijn nog steeds te zien opstijgen naar de oppervlakte Herdenkingsmuur: Aan het uiteinde van het monument is een muur met de namen van de 1.177 bemanningsleden die hun leven verloren aan boord van de USS Arizona. - Er zijn een paar eetgelegenheden op het terrein bij het Pearl Harbor Visitors Center en in de buurt van het slagschip Missouri, zoals foodtrucks, snackstalletjes of cafés waar u voor of na uw tour eten kunt kopen en nuttigen.
- Locaties kunnen gesloten zijn vanwege stormachtig weer
- Roken is niet toegestaan op het terrein van het bezoekerscentrum of bij het monument
- Draag comfortabele schoenen, want u zult een groot deel van de tour te voet afleggen.
- Badkleding is niet toegestaan

Will was fantastic. My father needed a wheel chair and he got us one. That is outside the box and was extremely helpful because my father can barely walk. The whole day was fun

This tour, tour guide and company booked through were fantastic and understanding. We booked for 2 couples; however, the morning before the tour one couples flight was canceled and rebooked for the following morning. The company refunded their money. The tour guide picked us up as promised at our hotel on-time. He was very knowledgeable and funny. He explained all the islands, their histories and all the sites especially Pearl Harbor. We loved him and the tour. Would highly recommend with this company and especially this tour guide.

Way too much to see and do. Not this company’s fault. You just can’t come close to seeing everything in the time allotted. You need to break it down by what you want to see and do the most and go to just those places in a specific order. The more days you have, the more you can see.

Will was our tour guide, from start to finish he was absolutely amazing! His knowledge of the area and all things Pearl Harbor was not only educational but also entertaining. He was very thorough in explaining where and what time to meet, telling you about the "must see" things, and suggestions on where to eat before you got off the bus, then sent a followup text with all of that information. Top notch communication all through out the day. The bus was very clean and Will always had the air conditioner on when we got back on. We highly recommend Aloha Sunshine Tours!!

Our tour guide Anthony was amazing! He makes sure all your needs are met and has a great sense of humor and will make your trip extra memorable! Summer was very knowledgeable, told a lot of history of the islands and history or the natives. This was an enjoyable day at Pearl harbor. She was an extra bonus.

I was really looking forward to this. This was $1000 for the two of us (way more than our round trip tickets from Chicago) to travel from the Big Island to Pearl Harbor for the day along with the downtown tour they discuss on here. To be fair, our plane was late because Southwest forgot to fuel the plane (not kidding). However, this was the very reason we did a tour instead of setting everything up ourselves. Yet, because we were late we had to take a cab to Pearl Harbor to meet tour. I was reimbursed. However, we missed information. We did not know we could get free headphones for the walk on submarine. I am thinking they told about this on trip to Pearl Harbor because we kept hearing: "As I told you on the way to Pearl Harbor" while we traveled to Ford Island. It was convenient to have tickets to exhibits already bought from tour group, but we did not do any other parts of the excursion. We were told if we wanted to do the other parts of he excursion we would be caught in traffic for two hours and we were not guarantee to meet our plane. No other people had taken a plane (I had asked) so I think we were an inconvenience to get back. We did not want to spend our time in Hawaii on an outdated warm van. If I were to do this again, I would plan this on my own and buy tickets way ahead of time. I also heard people on the plane when we were going there telling us they were with a different tour that did supply meals. This tour offered no food and NO water. I was considering marking this review as poor but went with average because communication was excellent and the guide was kind. For the experience (or lack of it) I think I could have set this up myself for way less.
