We zijn uniek omdat we eenvoudig, communicatief en aanpasbaar zijn aan uw behoeften. Het enige dat we niet leuk vinden, is als gasten ons vragen hoe lang ze hier kunnen blijven, want het antwoord is zo lang als nodig is. We houden er niet van om iemand op te jagen omdat je op vakantie bent gekomen om te genieten en niet aan tijd te denken.

De excursie begint vanaf uw hotel, luchthaven of ontmoetingspunt. Na een rit van 1 uur arriveert u in het kleine middeleeuwse stadje Ston, waar u een mooie wandeling over de stadsmuren van Ston kunt maken. Na deze wandeling van ongeveer 30 minuten gaan we verder richting de zoutziederij. Je leert over het technologische proces van het verkrijgen van zeezout en de uitstekende kwaliteit ervan. Wanneer de tour is afgelopen, rijden we naar het kasteel van Klis voor Split, ongeveer 1 uur en 30 minuten.
Het imposante Klis-fort (Tvrdava Klis), gebouwd in de kalkstenen kliffen buiten Split, was ooit een belangrijk verdedigingsbolwerk tussen de Middellandse Zee en de Balkan. Het huisvestte de zetel van vele Kroatische koningen, hoewel het tegenwoordig beter bekend staat als de filmlocatie voor de fictieve stad Meereen in de serie Game of Thrones. Deze attractie zie je in 1u30min. Daarna moeten we 30 minuten rijden naar het centrum van Split.
Na Klis 30-45min begin je de tour aan de Split Riva, de boulevard van Split. Via de Bronzen Stadspoort kom je in de kelder van het paleis. De gewelfde kelders zijn intact en zeer goed bewaard gebleven na meer dan 1700 jaar. Daarna ga je verder naar het sacrale deel van het paleis, de Perystil en de kathedraal, die ooit het mausoleum van Diocletianus was. De heidense tempel van Jupiter werd in de 7e eeuw een doopkapel. Je wandelt langs Cardo, de voormalige hoofdstraat van het paleis, en bewondert de Gouden Poort. Dan kun je rond de 2u45m lunchen, koffie drinken of borrelen. Daarna ontmoeten we elkaar bij de dropzone en keren we rond 2 uur en 30 minuten terug naar het hotel. En als je wat extra's nodig hebt, zijn we flexibel om je reis perfect te maken.

Mateo is so gracious and friendly. His car is very comfortable and he is a very safe and efficient driver. We made excellent time on the round trip and he was very flexible in timing so we could utilize our time how we wanted to. He’s given us terrific local tips for restaurants and local sights. If you’re doing a day trip to Split (or other activity) I highly recommend Mateo. He’s great with kids, and totally easy going.

Mateo was an excellent tour guide! He put together 2 personalized tours for our group. The first was to Perast and Kotor Montenegro from Dubrovnik. The second was from Dubrovnik to Split, going through Mostar and hitting many other great sights along the way. A highlight was the lunches he arranged for us both days! In Mostar we sat over looking the bridge at Terace Legaro. The food was amazing and the view is incredible. He had the best table in the place reserved for us ahead of time. His tours are well thought out and well planned. He even sends pictures at the end of the day. He is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend!

Mateo was simply the best, he not only ensured we get to see so many amazing places, but kept the journey very comfortable, taking us through some of the most scenic paths, and at same time, explaining about the salient aspects of the place. He is well informed and an amazing sense of the entire region (not a single time, saw him using Google maps). We used his service while transiting from Dubrovnik to Split and on the way took us through the Botanical garden, Ston, Blagaj, Mostar, Kravice waterfalls. Would strongly recommend Mateo to anyone looking for a private taxi operator to travel across Croatia!!
