Verken de oude ruïnes van Pompeii en beklim de iconische Vesuvius tijdens deze dagexcursie vanuit Sorrento. Begin met een 2 uur durende rondleiding door Pompeii onder leiding van een Expert Engels sprekende Gids, waar je de fascinerende geschiedenis van de stad zult ontdekken en memorabele inzichten zult leren. Na een korte pauze geniet u van uw rit naar de Vesuvius voor een 1,5 uur durende wandeling naar de krater, met een meertalige audiogids beschikbaar om uw ervaring te verbeteren. Geniet van naadloos vervoer heen en terug, waardoor u verzekerd bent van een comfortabele verkenningsdag.

Toegang tot de archeologische site van Pompeii via de Porta Marina ingang, een van de belangrijkste toegangspoorten tot de oude stad.
Ontdek de open portiek die onderdak bood aan kooplieden en andere activiteiten.
Bezoek wat ooit het belangrijkste plein van de oude stad was.

Betreed het oudste thermale complex van de stad.
Het Odeon was een elegant binnentheater dat werd gebruikt voor muzikale evenementen en poëtische recitals.
Het Grote Theater was gastheer van Pompeii’s grote voorstellingen, waaronder drama’s en muzikale shows.
Na uw 2 uur durende rondleiding geniet u van een korte pauze voordat u naar de Vesuvius gaat voor het tweede deel van de excursie.
Reis comfortabel naar de Vesuvius en geniet van een 1,5 uur durende wandeling naar de krater. Geniet van een betoverend uitzicht over de baai van Napels.
Geniet van uw rit terug naar Sorrento.

Fab trip. Very well organised. Our guide Mario was knowledgable and funny and kept everyones energy up as we ascended and descended the mountain. We had a different guide for pompeii and she was fab too. The ear pieces made it easy to hear what she was saying even amongst all the visitors from other groups - a clever system I hadn’t seen before. The bus was also cool which was a joy in between the activities.
We had an amazing trip to Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii, and our guide, Hilaria, truly made the experience unforgettable. As an archaeologist, she was incredibly knowledgeable, bringing the history to life with fascinating insights, while also being funny, engaging, and passionate throughout the tour. The tour was the perfect length and struck a great balance between being informative and deeply moving. The pick-up and drop-off were straightforward, everything was very well organised, and the whole experience ran seamlessly from start to finish. Excellent value for money, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Hilaria, for making it such a memorable day!
We had an amazing trip to Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii with our guide, Mario. He was funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. His stories and sense of humor made the history come alive and kept the whole group entertained throughout the day. Thanks to Mario, the tour was not only informative but also a lot of fun. Easy to find, comfortable ride to Vesuvius with friendly driver. Audio guide gave interesting context to the climb towards the crater. Spectacular views. A welcome 45 minute break for lunch before heading to Pompéi where we met our guide. A very big site with so much to discover and explore. Glad we went with a guide but also that we went in May and not the height of the summer - so busy already. Well worth it though. Well organised and stress free

The driver does not speak much English, but he did navigate the traffic very well and was very patient. The ruins of Pompei were much more than I expected and amazing. Our guide for the tour was very informative!
Amazing experience! Driver arrived on time and was very polite. Mount vesuvius is a must!!! & Our guided tour at pompeii with Vincenzo was so gooood! He really knew his stuff and made the tour fun. I recommend 100%
The activities themselves were great. The organisation let the day down as it was very rushed which spoilt the experience. We were sent clear instruction of where to meet at 9.30 to start the tour, but one couple could not find it. They were located after 20 mins and we then went to pick them up. We were thus 30 mins late leaving Sorrento, which meant it took 2 hours to get to Vesuvius rather than 1 hour as we hit the traffic. Because of this we were only given 1 1/2 hours to climb Mt Vesuvius which meant it was rushed, and my friend and others did not have time to reach the top. Because we did not have time, two of the other couples were late down, so we left late for the Pompeii tour and had no time to eat anything or get more water even. The Pompeii tour with Paolo was great - very interesting, and done at a good pace. He had so much information to share. The problem lies with the tour operator - either they need to factor in that people may not find the meeting point and start 30 mins earlier, or leave without everyone if they are more than 10 mins late. This late start impacted the whole of the day. Also note that the Vesuvius tour was self guided so you need to download the app and bring headphones. The Pompeii tour was a larger group of 14 people which I was not expecting, but Paolo made it work fine with headsets so we could all hear the fascinating history. In summary I would highly recommend you climb up Vesuvius and have a guided tour of Pompeii, esp if you get Paolo, but use a different operator.
English tour guide Theresa was perfect, very friendly, a lot of humor, additionally also archaeologist, so we learned many more details about the excavations! Thank you for the great experience!
