Ga tussen de prachtige kuddes grote slagtandolifanten rondzwerven met een schilderachtige achtergrond van Mount Kilimanjaro. De thuisbasis van de Big 5, u kunt de dieren in het wild spotten vanaf een observatieheuvel. Met vijf verschillende habitats, variërend van de opgedroogde bodem van Lake, wetlands met zwavelbronnen, de savanne en bossen. Bezoek de lokale Maasai-gemeenschap die rond het park woont en ervaar hun authentieke cultuur.

We halen je om 5 uur op van je Nairobi hotel en beginnen aan een 4 uur durende rit naar Amboseli National Park. U rijdt door lokale dorpen en de Athi en Emali vlakten, met prachtige landschappen en af en toe het spotten van wilde dieren. Om 9 uur kom je aan in Amboseli en maak je meteen een game drive. Bezoek de verschillende moerassen die dit park bezaaien en waar het wild goed geconcentreerd is. We zullen getuige zijn van indrukwekkende kuddes olifanten die foerageren, tackelen en baden. In Amboseli National Park leven vele diersoorten, waaronder Afrikaanse busholifanten, Kaapse buffels, impala's, Maasai-leeuwen, jachtluipaarden, gevlekte hyena's, Maasai-giraffen, vlakte zebra's en blauwe gnoes, onder andere Afrikaanse dieren. Er zijn ook veel Keniaanse vogels, zowel grote als kleine. Onze game drive brengt ons tot lunchtijd, wanneer we stoppen bij Oltukai Lodge. Om 15.00 uur verlaten we het park met een en-route game drive. Om 20.00 uur rijden we terug naar Nairobi. Je wordt afgezet bij je Nairobi hotel voor een verdiende rust.

I had an amazing safari experience in Amboseli Nationalpark - everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The guide was very professional and thoughtful, and the entire trip ran smoothly. The drive itself was comfortable and felt very safe at all times. What impressed me most was how well the guide knew the animals. He always seemed to know exactly where to find them, and thanks to his expertise, we were able to see so many different species up close. He also shared detailed and fascinating information about each animal we encountered. A real highlight was the beautiful lunch at a stunning lodge, where I could watch elephant herds right from the terrace. The food was delicious, and the setting was simply breathtaking. All in all, it was a truly memorable day – I would do it again in a heartbeat!

From the moment I requested information to the end of the day, the experience was just treat. Silas was great at communicating and answering all my questions and Linus was the perfect tour guide. Great service with good vehicle and reasonable prices. Single day trip to Amboseli National Park involves a long drive from Nairobi on some smaller roads with lots and lots of trucks meaning traffic. The drive is far for a one day trip but stops are well timed and bathrooms and snacks are available for purchase. The safari 4x4 Van is perfect. Happy I with with cheaper Van option instead of Land Cruiser Jeep. Plenty of space and comfortable seats made the drive easier. And open roof top made for fantastic 360 viewing options during Amboseli. I would suggest to do a 2 day trip instead of 1 day return to break up the driving. Tour guide was nice and friendly. Amboseli had great animal viewing and a diverse landscape plus views of Kiliminjaro mountain.
