Onze reis brengt ons in de geweldige Otranto kust omgeven door een prachtig mediterraan kreupelhout. Ik rijd je naar Otranto, een van de mooiste kustdorpen in Salento, waar je je onafhankelijke tour kunt houden terwijl je geniet van de oude stad. Daarna stappen we over naar het Bauxietmeer en naar de vuurtoren van Palascia met hun adembenemende uitzichten. In Torre Sant'Andrea en Torre dell'Orso kunt u het helderste water vinden dat u ooit in Puglia hebt gezien en een van de mooiste natuurlijke zwembaden ter wereld. De bezoektijden zijn zeer flexibel, afhankelijk van uw behoeften, en u kunt ook zwemmen op uw favoriete plek, dus neem uw zwemspullen mee.

Transfer van Lecce naar Otranto 45 min - Otranto, een van de mooiste kustdorpen in Salento. Elke hoek benadrukt de verschillende beschavingen die hier leefden zoals Romeinen, Byzantijnen, Ottomanen en Aragonezen. Je hebt vrije tijd voor een bezoek aan de geweldige kathedraal, de Sint-Pieterskerk in Byzantijnse stijl, het kasteel en de indrukwekkende muren die de hele oude stad omringen.
Transfer van Otranto naar Bauxite Lake 10 min - Een klein meer groeide in een verlaten bauxietgroeve, gekenmerkt door een indrukwekkende rode kleur van de grond, omringd door mediterrane kreupelhout. Het is de laatste jaren een must-see geworden voor alle toeristen. U zult genieten van het hele gebied na een korte wandeling over een onverharde weg die u naar geweldige uitzichtpunten zal brengen.
Transfer van Bauxietmeer naar Palascia Vuurtoren 10 min - De hoge witte cilindrische vuurtoren op het meest oostelijke punt van Italië. Wandelend langs het pad kunt u zich verheugen met een adembenemend uitzicht door de rotsachtige klif met uitzicht op de Adriatische zee.
Transfer van Palascia Lighthouse naar Torre Sant'Andrea 30 min - De Faraglioni baai is een prachtig gezicht. Het water is het helderste dat je kunt vinden in Puglia en de achtergrond is uitstekend. Hier kunt u zwemmen door de in de rots uitgehouwen treden af te gaan of op het nabijgelegen zandstrand, dus neem uw zwembroek mee om te genieten van de prachtige zee. U kunt ook zelfstandig lunchen in de nabijgelegen restaurants met heerlijke terrassen aan zee.
Transfer van Torre Sant'Andrea naar Torre dell'Orso Beach 5 min - U kunt genieten van het mooiste en langste zandstrand wandelen langs het, door prachtige uitzichtpunten en zwemmen in de azuurblauwe zee. Mis ook niet om de heerlijke typische zoetigheden te proeven op het prachtige terras van de beroemdste ijssalon.
Transfer van Torre dell'Orso naar Poëziegrot 5 min - Je bezoekt een van de mooiste natuurlijke zwembaden. Je kunt het helderste water benaderen door de treden af te gaan die in de rots zijn uitgehouwen, maar hier kunnen mensen niet langer baden omdat veiligheidsmaatregel, en omdat het een plek is die absoluut moet worden bewaard.

This is such an individual experience and you get to see so many iconic areas of the Salento coast. Roberto (Bob) is the most amazing host and gives you plenty of time to explore each area. We had an excellent sightseeing tour in the company of Bob. Very professional, friendly, and attentive, he made this discovery particularly enjoyable. Despite the intense heat, he always ensured our comfort by adjusting the car's air conditioning and being very considerate throughout the day. We had an amazing day with Bob and Sandra! I did not realize when I booked it that it would just be my partner and I, so it was a lovely surprise that it was a private tour. We were picked up in Lecce, a few minutes walk from our Airbnb. Bob was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a map for a great walking tour of Otranto. The itinerary had a stop for a seaside lunch and some other locations we would not have made it to on our own. If you are short on time in Puglia, this was a great way to see more of the region. We had a lovely day today with Roberto and his wife Sandra. The tour was very flexible. We were picked up from our B&B in Otranto and ,as we had already had chance to visit Otranto ,Bob helped us organise a slightly different day. We started at Corallo winery for an excellent winery tour and tasting , and then visited several coastal sites both north and south of Otranto. Highlights were the Poetry cave and Bauxite Lake. The tour was very relaxed , not rushed at all, and Bob was an excellent host throughout the day.
Bob and Sandra were excellent guides. Friendly, knowledgeable. We practiced our Italian and they practiced their English. Highly recommended!
We stayed in Lecce and booked the the coastal tour where bob and his wife gave us a driving tour and multiple stops to view the beautiful landscapes, coast lines and towns along the way allowing for walking the town, enjoying the food and culture at our pace with Bob kindly leading the way. Travel on October 13th in the off-season and the Service was exclusive to me and my lady. Mauricio the Chauffeur and Sandra as a guide gave us a pleasant and professional reception. That is if the tour is not in Spanish, but with the translator of the cell phone we understood perfectly
This tour is fabulous. Maurizio & Rita are so lovely. The sights you see are beautiful and varied - from Otranto to the eastern most point of Europe and then the stunning coast. We were also able to adapt the tour and have lunch at a gorgeous seaside restaurant rather than in Otranto. Being able to travel around safely rather than drive ourselves and without a lot of other tour participants was so stress free and relaxing. I would recommend this tour to everyone!
