Booked this tour for my birthday celebration while visiting Zanzibar. The staff were amazing especially Yoko and Big Joe. They were friendly and informative and made you feel like family for the day. The group size on the traditional boat was perfect. The lunch provided on the island at midday was a feast. One of the best meals we had throughout our trip. The tour was a good length of time and you got to sample a little of everything from snorkeling to a sandbar to a lagoon.

We were lied to several times. The man (Captain J) we arranged the tour with, who promised that he would be our guide (as he spoke english), passed us off to a driver who he now claimed would be our guide(and also claimed spoke better english than him). However, he turned out to speak zero english and just as quickly passed us off to yet another man who didn’t speak english (a nice man, but couldn’t communicate with us) . Furthermore, there was an extreme lack of organization. Throughout the day we had to wait twice under the burning hot sun (without possible cover) for over an hour. Moreover: - The boat was rusty, small and uncomfortable. -No one could tell us anything about anything since they didn’t speak english. -There was clear disrespect for the animals. They chased the dolphins aggressively with no respect for them or us, as we clearly told them not to (they also touched the starfish, which is not allowed as it can harm them). -The snorkeling equipment was all broken, leaking goggles= no snorkling(which was half the trip). -We were not offered any drinks between 06 am when the tour started till lunch around 14 pm. Neither were we offered fresh fruits and sodas, as promised. Nor offered any life vests, which was also promised. -Furthermore, we were assured there would be restrooms at at least one point, which was true. However, the only one nearby lacked a door and roof, so passerby’s could easily look in, and of course there was no toilet paper or seat. -We were also lied to about the price we would have to pay to enter the cave with the turtles and the guide kept nagging us about paying, even though we had agreed to pay at end of day. The only good thing was the lunch. All in all, not trustworthy , not in the least organized and not worth paying for. Save your time and money!!

Safari Blue does an incredible job. First rate. The boat was large and new. The crew were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Lunch was scrumptious.

**Safari Blue Zanzibar** Our experience with this trip was far from what the sellers had promised us. The price-quality ratio was extremely disappointing. We paid 90 dollars for two people, which turned out to be far too much. After a one-hour bus ride, we arrived at a location where we boarded a boat with about 20 other people for another one-hour boat ride. Once we arrived at a sandbank, we were given a fruit breakfast, but we weren’t the only ones there: around 25 boats arrived, making the sandbank overcrowded with tourists. There was nothing else to do on or around the sandbank. After a 45-minute break, we continued to the snorkeling spot, a 20-minute ride. There were about 20 boats, and everyone was dropped into the water at the same time. The crew fed the fish, but there was no real snorkeling tour. It was far too crowded, and we constantly bumped into other tourists. We ended up snorkeling for just 10 minutes before getting back on the boat. We then took a short boat trip to a lunch spot, where we had a one-hour break. The lunch was well-prepared and there was plenty of food for everyone. After lunch, we visited a mangrove forest, where we could swim for just 10 minutes. Due to the tide, the mangroves were barely visible, so it wasn’t very impressive. After that, we endured a 1.5-hour boat ride and a one-hour bus ride back to the hotel. In short, while the trip was beautifully described and the photos looked amazing, it turned out to be a highly commercialized experience. You pay way too much for an experience that offers very little. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Overpriced trip with alot of salesmen on the island you go for lunch. The lunch was ok but everything is extra. Went to the three and took a picture of a cocnut crab and one of the guys there insisted that i had to pay for taking the picture. I told him to go …. Yourself. All the other people there felt thretend and payed up 5 dollars each for the pictures. The snorkeling was disepointing cause the visability is low, but if its your first time snorkeling is an ok experience i guess. The guide and the boatguys was cool people tho. But again, overpriced!!!

Full day trip. Swam at a sandbar, snorkelling x2 stops ( pretty good coral and fish but Blue Lagoon better if you only have time for 1 trip ) and swim at mangrove area. Great BBQ lunch and time for more swimming if you wished. Don't be put off by the number of people in each boat as you arrive, you spend most of the time in the water / on the beach. Everyone very friendly and it was well organised

A day full of color, music and lots of entertainment in a paradisiacal setting. We couldn't have been luckier with the group we were integrated into. Families from Tanzania and Kenya who made us feel at home with their friendliness and good disposition. On the negative side, we only have to point out the guide's lack of experience and commitment, which made the organization of everything seem a little chaotic.

I have wanted to visit Zanzibar since I was a kid. We got to do it this summer. I contacted them via WhatsApp and created a custom itinerary including stone town tour, Nakupenda and Safari Blue. Ocho was our driver from the airport pickup to airport drop off. What a great driver. What an amazing trip. It was as planned and Ismail was our guide and it was perfect! I would highly recommend Ismail and the team. Don't hesitate, Do it !

We payed through trip advisor for the trip almost 220$( 2 persons), wich we tought that would be ok. Right after someone local wrote me that I should pay 70$ more for the taci, because is too far from the meeting spot, with a mention here that nothing regarding this was in the advertised tour. Also, we tried to cancel it, but it wasn’t possible, because we booked the trip with 10 h before it. Also, I did not manage to get help from tripadvisor, so, another draw back. The tour was decent, bank sand, snorkeling spot, good grilled food and baobab tree, but it was very crowdy duting the whole tour. There after we discussed some fellow tour mates we found out that the tour costed them around 100-120$ ( 2 persons) so we payed 170-190$ more than the other. A total disgrace! 0 stars, Highly not recommended!

We signed up for the full day trip and we’re rather shocked to see how many people would be out on boats that day. Our boat only had 12 but by the time you get to the destinations eg sandbank, snorkelling it’s full of people which is a shame. Food was really good and the staff were helpful and kind. Our dhow had a rather a serious leak on the return so they spent a lot of it pumping out water. These things really ought not happen on a very expensive day out. Credit to the staff and food but the operation is a bit too mass market for us.
