De regenboogbergtour dompelt je onder in de wildernis van de Andes in een buitengewoon landschap. Tijdens de regenboogtour ziet u eeuwenoude rotsbergen, binnen het Vilcanota Andes-gebergte, dat ook bekend staat om zijn concentratie van sneeuwtoppen. De regenboog bergwandeling, is een van de beste attracties in deze soort die je in Peru zult zien omdat het je een idee geeft van de gletsjers die rond millennia geleden waren. Wandelen door een onbekend en wild gebied, met sneeuw bedekte toppen, kuddes alpaca, totdat je aankomt op je top van de regenboogbergbestemming.

Dit is een fascinerende ervaring om verder te gaan, want we zullen een van de bergen bezoeken die miljoenen jaren geleden een enorme hoeveelheid ijs bevatten. Ons avontuur van de regenboogbergtocht begint om 04:00 uur op een ongelooflijke rit van 3 ½ uur door land van woeste woestijnlandschappen, met sneeuw bedekte toppen en kuddes alpaca. Zodra we aan het einde van de busreis zijn, moeten we ons klaarmaken voor 4 uur wandelen, daarvoor moeten we ons ontbijt nemen om wat energie op te doen. Vanaf Chilca (4.300 m / 14.200 ft) zal een punt van de trailhead van onze regenboogbergtocht ons de weg naar boven wijzen. Het zal een bergopwaartse wandeling zijn om de beroemde Rainbow Mountains te bereiken. Als we onze regenboogbergtocht afronden, beginnen we terug te keren naar het dorp Chillca om ons privévervoer terug naar Cusco te nemen, waar we rond 19:00 uur aankomen. , waar we u afzetten bij uw hotel.

We had a great experience at Rainbow Mountain. Our guide Miguel was excellent. His guidance and encouragement was supportive and help us get to the top of Rainbow Mountain. The view from the top was beautiful and the formation of the colours was unique. We have beautiful photos, thanks to Miguel for his good photography skill. Thoroughly enjoyed this adventure. We recommend Miguel if you visit Rainbow Mountain.

We did the Rainbow Mountain tour and hike as an optional extra on our tour. Totally worth it, even with the early departure from Cusco, we found it to be a once in a lifetime magical experience. Loved this tour, but you definitely notice the altitudes effect on your breathing, walk slowly and rest often ,we went on a minibus and took advantage of of the motorbikes to get higher (extra cost) the views were amazing rainbow mountain and glaciers just beautiful.Our guide Edward and his colleagues were excellent at organising the bikes and generally keeping an eye on things. There was oxygen available and ambulance just In case of medical emergency, fortunately not needed whilst we were there. Get a photo with some Alpacas with sun glasses , some local food vendors and souvenir sellers. Keep 2 soles for the toilet.

Our tour guide was Oscar he was great and very supportive. I was one of the slowest and he supported my request for a donkey. He is a fabulous guide and gave us a lot of information before, during and after about altitude sickness

Our tour guide Oscar was fantastic. He gave us excellent commentary and advice on handling the high altitude. I was the slowest in our group during the ascent and Oscar walked with me and encouraged me to take it slowly. He also shared the inhaling liquid to help and assisted my wife to get a horse for the last part of the ascent. You couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces when we made it to the viewing location at 5000m. He is well organised and focused on the safety and enjoyment of his customers. We were with trip a deal and Oscar accompanied us for a very enjoyable week.

Very nice day trip, the walk is not easy on this hight, but doable. The guide Fernando talks good english and was patient and helpfull. The only thing not so nice was they said the entrance fee was not included while it was. The Viator assistance reacted directly and solved the problem.
Great day out with Edwardo. Our tour group of 10 booked the tour through our tour guide Aldo who arranged the tour just for us. It was a wonderful day. Edwardo was the perfect host.
