De tour begint vanuit elke accommodatie in Mombasa en bezoekt: Fort Jesus Historical Museum, Old town, Wandeling op de markt en lunch in een lokaal gerechten restaurant in Mombasa, Mombasa Giant olifant Tusk monument en 's middags bezoek aan het haller park.

Je wordt opgehaald bij je hotel en naar het Fort Jesus gebracht. Dit is Mombasa's oudste museum en het toont de cultuur en de oorsprong van de lokale bevolking, met vermelding van de oorsprong van Swahili. Met een gids kun je het historische patroon volgen dat leidt tot de invloed van de sultans. Daarnaast leer je via verschillende tentoonstellingen de cultuur van de lokale bevolking kennen.
U zult genieten van een wandeling in smalle straatjes van de oude stad Mombasa, langs de beroemde vismarkt voordat u rijdt om de slagtanden van olifanten te zien als een monument van de oude (nu illegale) ivoorhandel. Daarna wandelt u over de markt met lunch bij een lokale gerechten om de lokale keukens te proeven
Na de lunch wordt u naar het Haller Park gebracht. Dit is geen dierentuin maar een vrij rondlopend dierenreservaat ontstaan uit het idee om een grote oude uitgestrekte voormalige cementgroeve te behouden. Er zijn veel dieren te zien en afhankelijk van je opwinding duurt dit tussen de 2 en 3 uur van waar je weer wordt afgezet naar je hotel.

We had an excellent tour of Mombasa and Haller Park with Anthony. Got our pictures taken with the tusks and marveled at the bats hanging out in the park. We liked the area around Fort Jesus but be aware that unfortunately the old town was dirty and in disrepair. We especially enjoyed Haller Park. We fed giraffes and watched Owen the hippo be fed. Anthony was great in accommodating our requests. The day was hot so we canceled several of the activities.
