Volledige dag gastronomische gletsjertocht: Upsala en Spegazzini
Beschrijving
Gourmet Glaciers is een dagvullende ervaring aan boord van de María Turquesa Cruise die door sommige plaatsen in dit Patagonische gebied reist en er met het hoogste comfort over vaart. Een activiteit speciaal ontworpen voor een onvergetelijke ervaring. Je bezoekt verschillende hangende gletsjers zoals El Seco, Heim Sur, Peinetta en stapt vervolgens uit bij Sitio de Las Vacas. Daar maken we een wandeling van 30 minuten door een deel van een Patagonisch Andesbos en de stranden. Daarna kun je lunchen (optioneel, met 2 optionele menu's en een 3e vegetarisch menu), en daarna gaan we de hoogste gletsjer van het Nationaal Park bekijken: de Spegazzini-gletsjer. U zult ongetwijfeld een uitzonderlijke en onvergetelijke dag beleven. We zullen op je wachten!!

Reisroute
De reis begint met het ophalen van passagiers tot het bereiken van de haven van Punta Banderas, gelegen op 47 kilometer van El Calafate. Van daaruit varen we om 9.00 uur richting het Noordkanaal van het Argentinomeer.
Vervolgens gaan we richting het Spegazzini-kanaal om verschillende hangende gletsjers te zien, zoals Seco, Heim Sur en Peinetta, en stappen dan uit bij Sitio de Las Vacas. Daar maken we een wandeling van 30 minuten door een deel van een Patagonisch Andesbos en de stranden. Bij terugkeer op de boot hebben we genoeg tijd om te lunchen (je kunt je eigen eten meenemen of de optie "met eten" kiezen) terwijl we onze wandeling vervolgen tot we de voorkant van de hoogste gletsjer in het Nationaal Park bereiken: de Spegazzini Gletsjer (135 meter boven zeeniveau). Meerniveau / 440 ft boven het meerniveau). Hier zullen we profiteren van de tijd om foto's te maken en in stilte zoveel natuurlijke schoonheid te aanschouwen.
De ijsschotsen waarvan sommigen weten dat ze drie keer zo groot en volume zijn als onze boot, zullen onze passage door het Upsala Kanaal versieren, vanwaar we de Upsala Gletsjer (de derde grootste gletsjer in het Zuid-Patagonische ijs) ongeveer 15 km verderop kunnen observeren.
Zodra de laatste stop voorbij is, keren we terug naar de pier en zetten we elke passagier af bij hun hotel.

Vervoer heen en terug naar de meeste hotels in El Calafate, zolang je maar een receptie hebt. Als het hotel geen receptie heeft, wordt u geïnformeerd over het dichtstbijzijnde ontmoetingspunt voor ophalen/afzetten. Zodra je de tour reserveert, neem je contact met ons op via WhatsApp om je te laten weten in welk hotel je verblijft.

Fantastic to take this tour with the Travelers agency. Attention was continuous and very well predisposed. The boat was new and modern, the guides friendly. The food was very delicious, very fresh, autochthonous. The landscapes that I can tell? lovely. I did the full tour that included the walkways of the brown expert

They did not comply with the contracted program. TOTAL FRUSTRATION!!! We purchased an excursion through Trip Advisor (reference number 1101684327) operated by the company VIATOR, for 02/24/2024, which included: Visit to the Upsala and Spegazzini Glaciers + transfer + Food + Disembarkation on the Perito Moreno Glacier walkways at 11am duration (full experience). After visiting the Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers and lunch, we returned to the transfer who informed us that we would return directly to the hotel. We asked about the other part of the itinerary (walkways of the Perito Moreno glacier) and were informed that this tour had not been booked by Viator, the company operating the tour (we booked an 11h tour and had an 8h tour). We immediately contacted Mr. Guido from Viator by phone, with whom we had been exchanging messages via Whatsapp, who simply informed us that there was a misunderstanding, given that our voucher was explicitly written that it included the Perito Moreno catwalks. . Finally, Mr. Guido said he could give us a partial refund, which has not occurred yet (20 days have already passed). At this point, we also learned that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to carry out all the tours that were sold to us due to the closing time of the walkways x the distance between places, which made us even more indignant, because they sold us a tour that was IMPOSSIBLE to be carried out, a fact for which we brought to the attention of TRIPADVISOR. It seems like bad faith to us!!! In addition to all this, LET IT BE CLEAR THAT NO REFUND WILL COVER OUR FRUSTRATION WITH THE ABSENCE OF THE TOUR. The record remains for your awareness and action.
Olá, como está? Lamentamos saber que teve essa sensação, mas você fez a reserva mais básica, que não inclui as passarelas de Perito Moreno, e quando nos informou, não havia tempo para incluí-las.... Mesmo assim, e para que você não vá embora desgostoso, fizemos o reembolso parcial, sabendo que não atenderia às suas expectativas, mas pelo menos você poderia usar esse dinheiro para outra atividade.
The description stated that the tour would go to Perito Moreno which it did NOT! The weather was calm and very sunny. When I made the complaint to the agency, they stated that the weather may have been an issue - ridiculous. Also, the cruise was very short. The pick up and drop off was about 3 hours, the cruise about 5 ish hours. Definitely not the 10 -11/12 hours the description claims. VERY expensive ($300 USD) and definitely not worth it. The guide also told us that no lunch was included. Luckily we went into the restaurant anyway and the person called my name out for lunch! So be careful!!!
We are sorry to read your comment. We have this tour with different variables. The most complete of all, includes perito moreno glacier, but you booked a more economical category! On the other hand, I always include lunch, but sometimes they do not pay attention to the guides, so they call us, asking where was the meeting point, at what time is lunch, in what place... and all that information is provided by the tour guide!!! We were 4 friends visiting southern Argentina for the first time and we were amazed. We really liked the tour, the catamaran took us to see the Upsala glacier, Spegazini and the Perito Moreno. We had lunch at a restaurant in front of the glacier, and we were able to drink a whiskey with ice from the glacier! We recommend the tour

Viator booked me on a completely wrong tour and totally ripped me off. My tour cost USD 261. The tour that I was booked on by Viator did not include the promised highlights (Perito Moreno). Viator does not even want to refund me the excess amount of USD 110 and has not apologized to me for their mistake. I am very sad and disappointed that I could not see the highlight of the region because of this error. My return flight was the next day and I had no chance to see Perito Moreno. I feel completely cheated by Viator. Also, you can book my originally booked tour with their subcontractor TOLKEYEN PATAGONIA for USD 149. I wonder why this exact same tour costs 261 at Viator? The tour at Viator is totally overpriced and an incredible mass processing (about 200 passengers from other travel providers), which by far does not justify this price. Also, there is no contact person (neither from Viator nor from TOLKEYEN PATAGONIA) on site. Please do not book with Viator and if you want this mass processing tour, then book directly with TOLKEYEN PATAGONIA (1). I have never had such a disappointing experience in my life.
We are sorry for your comment, but you booked the wrong tour... you have to read carefully before booking! You went to our place, spontaneously over and over again, and you never understood. A pity that you messed us up for free, when we offered you the tour that you booked. Next time read better what you book, so we avoid these comments!
Taking the tour aboard the comfortable boat and having the culinary experience was really cool. We visited 2 glaciers and stopped for lunch at the restaurant in front of the glacier, the view was great. The food was very delicious and the attention was great. grade 10!
